Today's shave was the third day with the Tech Lord combo again another great shave.
The C.O. Bigelow shave cream is by far one of my favorites it lathers easy and I love the scent.
So all in all another BBS shave which =ONE HAPPY ILTS!

Another good shave this morning with this set up. WTG, ATG, and I'm DFS+ with no visible irritation. I'm approaching BBS in many areas. I had one tiny weeper on my cheek, but it sealed off with the cold water rinse. Alum was quiet except for the areas where I chased the baby a little too much. Overall, I'm pleased with the result.

Wednesbay Rum
I used the WSP Bay Rum aftershave from a pass around today and it smells great, maybe the best scent in this diverse category. I paired it with another favorite of mine: Krampert's Bay Rum soap. The two compliment each other quite nicely. I also used WSP pre shave oil and the lather was stellar. I dialed der Futur down to 4 to be more gentle on my neck, but only reinforced my preference for this razor wide open. All in all a great shave.

RazorGuy Shave​

This morning I felt like having what I call a "RazorGuy Shave", that is a shave in which I use my homemade shaving products, those I make at home for my own enjoyment with the spirit of experimenting new things. I also wanted to use my father's shaving brush - a 35 years old Omega Bristle 47 and still performing like the best champion - and this Dovo 2Bismarck I received as a gift. As for my shaving products, this time I used my pre-shave oil, my almond shaving soap - absolutely a superior and amazing soap with a superb post shave, not to mention, providing an excellent cushion effect and slickness for a straight razor - and my "old" Bay Rum, a batch I made quite a long time ago. I enjoyed everything, including this Dovo 2Bismarck that, when properly honed and stropped - in my case, Mastro Livi loom strop and hand palm - is capable of giving a very good shave.​

Really nice left handed only shave. Klar Kabinett lathers wonderful, nice rose scent. Not sure why I used Barbasol Brisk? It's okay.

This was my first shave with my new Fall's Lumberjack soap from Henri et Victoria. This soap is a lather maniac with a nice, mild scent and awesome skincare. It has a very mild cooling sensation as well - terrific stuff. This Bergamot Vetiver aftershave is a bona-fide face-freezer and also very skin-friendly. What a great, enjoyable shave. Quebec sait faire! (Quebec knows how!)

Excellent shave this morning. This has been a fine shaving razor for me. Whoever made it understood what "hollow ground" really means. Have a good one.

today's shave was nice. stick did well with my wild boar semouge. progress was so nice I had to use it twice(rico-rico). save great results. finished with the citrusy kolonia.
hope y'all did as well, or better.

 

It's a great handle I think. I went thru a few before settling on this one. When it was finished and arrived it was perfect. My fav combo with a mongoose.

The finish is bead blasted brass. I hadn't seen this done before and Toby thought it would b a great idea. So I said sure! As its used the oils on the hand darken the finish. When it arrived t looked almost like the color of sand. Over the last few months it's changed a bit.
