SoS: November 17, 2014 - November 23, 2014

For some reason, I have never seen that old spice decanter. It is pretty great. I am going to have to track one down... then I can make it fight my Avon Oland 'America' ship decanter while I take baths. Bubble baths. My family already thinks my shaving obsession is on the extreme side. Might as well take it to the next level! I thought my girlfriend was going to hemorrhage from laughter last night when I asked her to pick me up some 'razor bran'.

 

I'm an Old Spice junkie so when I saw it I had to have it. It came with a cool story also, check it out.

3 passes WTG, XTG, ATG, and a little J-hooking around the neck. Yes you can J-hook with a slant if you're careful. BBS, very close and irritation free. One of my best shaves. It's amazing how a little thing like a great shave can make your whole day better.

Thirty-one degrees and fair this morning. The C.O. Bigelow Shaving Cream face-lathered very easily with my Omega Pro 98 Boar Brush. Two passes with my '47 Gillette Super Speed and Astra SP blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, alum block, and a final cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayers Lemon WH and then Pinaud Clubman after shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

 

Let me tell you something, my friend - my wife has requested a buying freeze, period. I told her that I'm not having it if I see something I like. I'll just buy it and that's it, that's all. What did she do? She gave me those beautiful, exotic-looking pouting eyes and walked away! She knows I have a nice Hanukkah gift for her wrapped up.

from where are Flemish people from?
I googled it, more confused now.
it said a Germanic people( Germany?) from a county of flanning? who speak Dutch. ok the Dutch are from, Denmark, who are Danes?
back to Flemish, they live in north Belgum, but are a minority in Scotland.
my short look into it brought the other question who are walloons. what are Flemings? before this morning I thought they were little animals that jumped off the cliff when scared.
Wow, I thought the US was the mixing pot of the world. please don't take offense to any of these questions, if these are racist remarks I will gladly delete my question.

 

Smooth Shaving
Another pleasant shave. I really enjoy B&M soaps, and Lavanille is my favorite scent. I'm still trying to figure out its complexity, and that is part of the fun. The performance and post shave feel are ideal for my face, too.
The Aristocrat is a very good razor, not too mild and not too aggressive. MRLB is in my top five aftershaves. It's so kind to my skin and has that great scent.
