May I suggest for a Pre Pre Shave some Jose Cuervo with a twist of lime. Repeat as necessary.

    C.O. Bigelow Shaving Cream
    Omega Pro 98 boar brush
    Gillette Super Speed '47
    Astra SP
    CWR, Asma Alum Block
    Thayers Lemon WH
    Pinaud Clubman

Seventeen degrees and fair here in Hendersonville, North Cackalacky. The C.O. Bigelow Shaving Cream face-lathered very easily with my Omega Pro 98 Boar Brush. Two passes with my '47 Gillette Super Speed and Astra SP blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, alum block, and a final cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayers Lemon WH and then Pinaud Clubman after shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Oh man, no kidding that would be great. Unfortunately I'm a wussy and took PAIN MEDICATION, so no shots or vino tonight. Now tomorrow will be different.:signs136: Thanks for the thought.

    Wait! I don't want to mislead anyone. I did not make the pictured rack. I bought that one. That is where the 'rotation' razors live. My woodworking skills are not close to that level. Mine are a bit less Bob Villa, and a bit more MaCGyver;
They are currently unfinished, and are hanging temporarily in the 'testing' phase. There have already been some tweaks... most schick razors didn't fit in the rings I used. Luckily my girlfriend owns a few pairs of ring opening pliers, one set was mighty enough to turn the circular eye bolts into hooks. So that problem was solved. These racks are growing on me. They have a certain 'Rugged' charm. However, the construction of certain razors makes them sit askew. It kind of drives me nuts. I am thinking about trying a version where the hanging system is less rigid... maybe a d-ring suspended from a short loop of strap webbing riveted to the board. Thus letting each razor settle happily in its own center of gravity. Or maybe these will be fine.

Looks good! I would have issues getting the 4 rows even.

    Tuesday Night Shave

    Pre: Hot water
    Razor: Weishi 9306
    Blade: Voskhod
    Cream: Arko for Men
    Brush: VDH Badger
    Post: Dominica Bay Rum

I forgot I had a tube of Arko for Men cream, and found it when I was digging through my medicine cabinet looking for my Derby creams. I decided to use it (and I need to add it to that soap/cream inventory thread!). It's not a great cream, but it works okay. I'll never buy it again. And no, it doesn't smell like the Arko soap (unfortunately). It doesn't really have much of a scent at all. It lathers easily and is competent. Saying I'll never buy it again isn't meant to put the cream down, just that there are a lot better choices for me out there and there's no reason to revisit Arko cream, unless for some reason I'm in a Turkish prison.

With a new blade and the razor still dialled @6 the razor had woken up clearly. No fooling around anymore, this razor meant business! I felt the blade way more than yesterday. Though it was the same type of blade, but at shave #5. Could be my angle was off, of course. The Jeris stung a bit more than usual, but since the shave left me BBS, I don't complain! :)

    Have a nice day ya'll!

This morning the Micro-Touch/Dorco combination was good to me - it gave me a very nice shave, and I was able to do it without too much effort. The next time I change the blade for this razor I'll load it with a 7 AM so that I can see the difference in performance, if any. The Proraso Green soap did its job beautifully - wow, so much great lather and plenty of cooling with a nice post-shave feeling. I really love the matching aftershave - it's so mentholated and fresh, but the scent is completely different than the soap. ;) :D

That Treet blade didn't work well even thought it's new, lots of pulling/tugging. But the results are ok and I'll go back to my injector tomorrow. BTW, a great Williams lather that helped a lot
