This mornings shave was a three pass shave to give me a DFS. When I was setting up this photo I was looking more closely at the box of blades. On one of the smaller sides I noticed that is says that they will fit any scrapper. I don't think they were meant to be used as a shaving blade. That would explain why the blade would benefit from a stropping. Though eight shaves from a scrapping blade ain't bad, I guess. I will continue to use it til I can't stand it no more or it stops yielding decent shaves. BECAUSE I'm cheap and it's working now. What's that old saying "If it ain't broke, don't fix it."

SCHICK KRONA (Gold Spirit of '76) - new LORD CLASSIC Blade - I am going to take a break from single edge safety razors (there just to easy for me) & easing my way back into the DE world, the Mild KRONA was the perfect razor for that. Sorry Gillette heads, but the SCHICK KRONA to me blows away its counterpart the GILLETTE SUPER SPEED. All Hail the Schick Krona!!!

5. Uncle Jon Fin McCool witch hazel & aloe (afterhave with no alcohol - I use it for my witch hazel step).

6. CROWN KING TWEE! aftershave/cologne.

7. 1912 Wickham Soap Co Shamrock Tweed Aftershave Balm.

 

Beautiful brush, background , amigo. I can't wait to use that soap next month.

Excellent three pass shave. The reliable Schick, and a new lab, rum runner to boot. The sweet sugar and tobacco, add in some oak and a bit of the ocean, I'd be standing on the docks on a nice day.
I'm gonna spritz a bit of orangy to complete my dockside shave.
Hope y'all did as well or better.

I do. Kt's soaps or croaps, give outstanding performance. Above that, the scent is..... raw sugar cane, a touch of oak barrel, and a bit of powder. Very reminiscent of a Caribbean cargo in the pirate era.
