    Primo asked the same question on the 30 day thread. This was my response. "The Merica is very well made. The tolerances and machining are first rate. The stone washed finish is very industrial and different from most other razors. The finish is really growing on me as well. The shave is very similar to a Karve D plate. There is very minimal blade feel with a wide sweet spot. The angle is easy to find and maintain. In this regard it is much easier to use than my Tatara Masamune which has a very small sweet spot. I have found the Merica to be a very smooth shaver that delivers everything I want in three passes and touch ups. If one is looking for a lot of blade feel or very aggressive razor, I would pass this razor by."
