Yes I have a bottle of that one too! I agree it has a fantastic finish. Another one I really like is Talisker 10. Truth is I've yet to find a Scotch or Bourbon that I don't like. Kind of like my view on double edge razor blades

Day 21 of 3D Printed Razor Month

The 3P Shave Soap lathered well with the Semogue 1305 Boar Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Triceratops 3D Razor with a Personna GEM SS PTFE Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Lustray Spice After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Sunday Schick shave, Nov 21st 2021

Razor: Schick G type injector, Canadian variant-Mfg 1940's& 50's, mid range, easy to work the face, good results usually.
Blade : Personna injector SS PTFE(6) very sharp, excellent longevity, smooths out over time, predictable.
Soap: Razorock Irish Country side, mild scent with excellent lather qualities.(misted)
Brush: Yaqi 26mm Rainbow synthetic, excellent lather generator, heavenly cloud like soft tips, gentle scrubber, excellent painter.
Pre shave: Brush wash my whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser+ a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on the cleaned beard area.
Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups.
Post shave: Fine fresh Vetiver with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizer lotion(balm) scentless.
Results: CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + 1 weeper= Excellent shave with my Schick injector G type with a Personna coated blade.

Pappy is one that I would love to try at some point. I'm definitely a Makers fan. Earlier this year I signed up to their Ambassador program. I recently received and email that by barrel was born September 1, 2021. Expected maturity Sep 2027-Mar 2029. I think it's super cool knowing that my name is on of their barrels!

I debated whether to go with Brut, Old Spice, PAA Garden of Bali and Tabac today. Will go with Tabac to satisfy the floral urge while still getting a touch of spicy and tobacco. Tabac pushed all the right buttons for the scent I wanted today. Also, it's a chance to use my favorite lather bowl.

Too cool Tim. Great story. I like the way you described it as something Superman would wear walking around the frozen fortress of solitude.

 

It was the first time I used Atomic Pumpkin and I was extremely surprised that I think I liked it even more then Atomic Bay Rum. Great scent. The funny thing was I saw the pumpkin spice soda at a gas station a couple of months ago on vacation and thought it would be a cool prop. Plus I like to try goofy things. My son opened it and drank some so I took this picture a few weeks ago before the bottle was completely empty and/or the soda went completely flat.

 

Very cool image. It reminds me almost of a Salvador Dali Painting. Truly awesome.

 

The Aftershave is a glass bottle and the EdT is an Aluminum bottle. Also, the aftershave has more alcohol than the EdT.
