The Shannon's Soaps Indigo Oud Shave Soap lathered well with the Jayaruh #371 Badger/Boar brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Stick Schick L2 Injector Razor and the Personna Injector Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Pinaud Citrus Musk Cologne. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Wow, any colder than this and I think my face would have disintegrated - my brother Fernando knows to put icicles in someone’s face with his menthol stuff. His Frosted Spearmint soap has the exact same beautiful scent as the Stirling Glacial Spearmint, (not as intensely mentholated) it’s a tallow based soap so the lather is awesome, there’s lots of slickness, the menthol sensation is great, and the skincare is A1. The Prep is a godsend for sensitive skin because it’s so moisturizing and soothing not to mention how much I love the scent, and the Frosted Spearmint aftershave smells as gorgeous as the soap and the menthol kick it gives is off the friggin charts. Finally the Acqua di Selva cologne with its lovely old school Italian style scent really pleased me. Three passes gave me a dynamite BBS shave that I enjoyed so much!

Remembrance day, SE SOTD, Friday, November 11th 2022

Razor : Yaqi Excalibur AC 50mm + Milano polished Yaqi handle- Mfg 2021>, excellent tame mid range, interesting simple clamping system, small head parts and this razor checks a lot of the boxes for a decent shaver 95%> of the time. Could be a daily driver for some folks IMO.
Blade : Schick Proline p30 50mm (6)- sharp & smooth with reasonable longevity, one of the better blades that works well with this razor!
Soap : Arco stick, bright bold clean scent 7/10 + excellent lather qualities, excellent travel stick and it just works great regardless of the scent critics have labelled it , the scent ,well I always follow with a aftershave with all my soaps I use .
Great post shave feel also on the face with this soap.
Brush : Yaqi "Moka express" 26mm 2band badger, excellent lather generator, big pillow soft tips, excellent splay scrubber + great lather painter.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Witch hazel beard cleanse + Nivea refreshing aftershave + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results :CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + no weepers= Excellent shave with my Yaqi Excalibur + a Schick proline blade.
