Lather: Williams Mug Shaving Soap.

Razor: 1940's Thin Handle Gillette Flat Bottom Tech. (ENG)

Post:
Cold water face wash with brush squeezing's, Cold Water Face Rinse. /Alum Rub. /Cold Water Face Rinse. / Homemade (~Autumn/Winter mix~) peppermint lavender, eucalyptus, + Tea Tree essential Oils Mixed Together With 200ml of Care+Witch Hazel Williams Aqua Velva ASL. / Nivea Men Replenishing PSB.

Remembrance Sunday morning shave.

'In honour to the fallen heroes of all wars past & present'....'All politicians around the world should make it their duty to visit war memorials to be reminded what happens when politics fails'.
I have nothing but utter contempt for politics, most of all politicians of what they have done and are still doing to the world that we live in. Shame on them. Enough said.

Everything in my shave set up this morning worked together wonderfully. A smooth performance from the 1940's tech / Treet Dura duo was wonderful cutting through my remaining stubble with effortless ease.

A comfortable 2 pass + pick-ups silky smooth shave with no errors to report. finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Nivea Men Replenishing PSB.

My face is feeling cool, smooth & smelling divine.

A shave on a cold, crisp November morning.

Needless to say that it has been a fantastic shave. I LOVE Cavendish. For me it is one of THE best smelling soaps out there.

2,5 passes and im 99,8% BBS.

The Shannon's Soaps Indigo Oud Shave Soap lathered well with the Jayaruh #371 Badger/Boar brush. Two passes and touch ups with the J.A. Henckels Rapide Lather Catcher Razor and the J.A. Henckels Wedge Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Pinaud Citrus Musk Cologne. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

It’s definitely been over a year since I last used this African Potato soap and I really enjoyed it a lot this morning. The X3 is something which Jaco, the owner of Bundubeard coded which means it’s at the highest level of menthol. This soap was created for the Master Shave forum and I jumped on it because I’m such a menthol freak as everyone knows. The scent of this soap is very outdoorsy and earthy, it’s glycerine based yet the lather whips up so thick, rich, slick, as well as protective, the menthol sensation hits like a frigid sledgehammer so it compares to any of the Stirling Glacial soaps, and it has pretty good skincare. Needless to say the Prep and the Rubby Dubby Doo were a perfect finish. What a brilliant three pass BBS shave this was!

Le Père Lucien Oud-Santal~~Simpson CH3~~British Gillette Red Tip/7 O'Clock Black~~Avon Premiere Luxe Oud
One of the best aspects of our hobby is the choices we have and while it may be challenging to pick out gear,
the results are almost always uber-satisfying. Today was no exception.
Excellent tallow-lather from France, with a luscious and creamy/woody scent.
Delivering the lather, is my favorite CH3, an exemplar from the Somerset era.
The butterscotch is deep; the knot is well-tied and extremely soft, but maintains the natural feel of badger tips.
From across the pond, we have the Brits' version of the Red Tip Super-Speed.
Efficient and fun razor to use, with not a small amount of "heft".
Completed the shave with a sleeper from Avon. The Oud is synthetic, but very sexy.
Pencil-shavings galore. Any Oud enthusiasts out there, would do well to put this stank on their radar.​
