very cool.i like the polsilver blades.the routine came from when i shave 2-3 times a week,so 1 blade a week.now i shave daily so i keep 2 blades in rotation.usually both different.ie 1 nacet for techs,platinum for others.

Here my Shave of the Day (20.11.2002)

So, after being tested positive on COVID today (my second time having COVID), i wanted a shave…my only symptom is a bit of a runny nose now and then, but that´s it yet. Hope that it stays that way…

The shave itself went drama-free without any surprises. Fantastic smelling soap, the razor was extremely gentle and worked well with the blade. Very smooth. This was the very first time i have used a Lord blade. Seems to be not that bad…

2,5 passes and i was BBS.

Sunday Shave

Lather: Dr Jon's Essentials unscented soap
Brush: Ever Ready
Razor: Henson AL13 mild
Blade: Astra SP
Post: witch hazel

I have been trying a variety of blades in the AL13. Today was Astra SP, which is ok for me in some razors, but never a favorite. They used to be the blades that Henson shipped with their razors. The shave was acceptable, but not as smooth or comfortable as I wished. My shave two days ago was with a Gillette 7 O'clock green, which was even less smooth. I skipped a day after that shave. This Astra blade will go to the bin after one shave. I haven't decided what to try next.
