Honestly, the more I use Fernando’s soaps the more I love them. His Ruby Forest has a lovely scent which is a carbon copy of Dunhill Red Desire, the tallow formula gives the lather such thickness, richness, and slickness, not to mention how skin friendly it is like ALL of his soaps. The Fino balm is unscented and you wouldn’t believe how moisturizing and soothing it is while the Max Disinfecting aftershave from Bulgaria gives a big sting for a second or two but then it feels great. Its scent is very nice but it doesn’t interfere with the gorgeous fragrance of the Bleu de Chanel. Three passes gave me a helluva super BBS shave that I enjoyed so much!

Brush: synthetic, this was a hand made gift from @Steve56 about 10 years ago, if I remember correctly. I asked him to turn a pink handle for my wife, and when the package arrived, this was included.
Soap: Stirling's Bay Rum

*I have two different 1958 Gillette Super Speeds. I believe this is the Cavalcade of Sports, or the TV, model.

The L'Occitane Cade Shaving Soap lathered well with the Jayaruh #423 2-band Badger brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Gillette Tech Slant by Tom and the Nacet Stainless Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Lustray Spice AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

SE SOTD, Friday, Nov4th 2022

Razor : Yaqi Excalibur SE head, Yaqi Milano 316 polished handle 50mm AC blade- Mfg 2021>, tame mid range, interesting simple clamping system, good finish on the chrome head, affordable + stellar results 95%> of the time. Always enjoy this razor shave.
Blade : Schick proline 50mm p30 (5)- sharp & smoooth with resonable results. Works well in this razor!
Soap : Razorock Lavender(discontinued), excellent masculine scent with excellent lather qualities. On 3rd tub!
Brush : Yaqi "Robin"24mm boar bristle, excellent lather generator, soft split end bristles, great splay scrubber, great lather painter.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Razorock King Louis lavender + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results :CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + no weepers= Excellent shave with my Yaqi SE Excalibur with a Schick proline p30.

after what was a shockingly rough shave with the Vokshod, it was an absolute delight to get back to the Gillette Bleue Extra, and the Zingari Man is without a doubt a premier league soap, with slickness for days! A glorious shave.

More comfortable shave than yesterday with an RK blade. I will see how many shaves I get from the Wizamet blade in my Henson. The Sudsy Soapery non-tallow makes an easy thick lather. Altogether, an excellent shave!
