Cold wet flannel to my face & head.
Wrights Coal Tar Bar Soap.
Brush: Omega S10018.
Bowl Lather.
Bowl : Tesco's Ceramic 'Cosmo' Side Bowl.
Lather: HWF Lanolin Shaving Soap (No.2) with Tea Tree & Lavender essential oils.
Blade: Lord Silver Star. (D4)
Razor: EJ DE89 .'kelvin.'

Post:
Cold water face wash with brush squeezing's, Cold Water Face Rinse./Alum Rub./Cold Water Rinse./Homemade (~Autumn/Winter mix~) peppermint lavender, eucalyptus, + Tea Tree essential Oils Mixed Together With 200ml of Care+Witch Hazel./ Aloe Vera Gel./Brut Splash-On Lotion.

A relaxing early morning shave to finish my shaving week off....The Silver star has felt comfortable smooth & efficient and has paired together with the EJ DE89 wonderfully with each shave.

The Palmolive Shaving Cream lathered well with the Jayaruh #71 synthetic brush by Tom. Two passes and touch ups with the Pal Injecto-Matic and Personna injector Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Hendrick's Witch Hazel and then Lustray Spice After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

The more I use this Vintage Spice soap and aftershave the more I love them. My dear brother Fernando in Johannesburg, South Africa is a veritable master in shaving products hence the name of his company Master Soap Creations. The scent is so beautiful - an identical copy of the Shulton Old Spice, the soap is a tallow based treasure with such awesome lather - even better than the Old Spice soap, it has so much slickness so you get great blade glide, and it gives such soothing, gentle skincare. The Prep was a bit of a mistake this morning because I had planned to use another balm but it still came in very handy with its moisturizing and cooling feeling. Finally the Vintage Spice aftershave went on with its delightful Shulton Old Spice scent and no burning or stinging because it’s witch hazel based. Three glorious passes gave me a brilliant, fun filled BBS shave!

Here my Wednesday Shave (08.11.2023)


Razor: Mühle Rocca Birch // Blade: Gillette Platinum // Soap: RazoRock SMDF // Brush: Shavemac // Aftershave: RazoRock SMDF

Wow…what a shave. Spectacular. I had the Original Soap from Firenze, the Santa Maria Novella but THIS is the best example that „Dupes“ or „Clones“ can be better than the Original. The lather in the Original was not what i expected from all the rave reviews everywhere. The scent was stunning and right up my alley, but the lather was…lacking.

The RazoRock has EXACTLY the same scent, so this is a bonus but the icing on the cake was the lather. Thick, protective and VERY slick. Wow…everything what i missed in the Original is in here. Wonderful. Can it be love on the first sight? Definitely yes. This is a keeper for sure.

The Rocca had no problems gliding through my stubbles and shaved everything off in 2,5 passes. BBS as a BBS can be.

The Aftershave has no Menthol it but maaaaaaan, what a scent. Difficult to describe but i detected a note from Cigars, Spices, a little bit of Pipe Tobacco and a tiny bit of fresh, green Tobacco leaves. Absolutely fantastic and it has some legs too. On my skin i detected the scent almost five hours later. Even my wife told me that i smell very good and that is a rarity. Normally all my Aftershaves „stinks“. So…Homerun i guess.

Clearly a 10 out of 10 and a highly recommendation for all of you who are thinking of buying this stuff. DO IT!!! You won ´t regret it.
