Cien PURE Fragrance Free Sensitive Bar Soap.
Brush: Omega S10018.
Face Lather.
Lather: Nivea Men Body Shaving Stick.
Blade: Treet Dura Sharp (Carbon) Blue pack. (D2)
Razor: Parker 87R.

A enjoyable 2 pass + pick ups close comfortable shave with no errors to report.

Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Cien Men Sensitive ASB.

My face is feeling super smooth & smelling divine.

Here my Shave of the Day (17.11.2024)


Razor: 19060 Gillette Fatboy // Blade: GBE (5) // Soap: Shulton Old Spice // Brush: Ever Ready // Aftershave: Witch Hazel - Shulton Old Spice

What a wonderful shave this was.

I dońt know from which time exactly the Shulton Set is, but maaaaaaan, it performed quality if not better than some of today´s stuff.

After a 15 second load i had enough lather for at least 4 passes. The Fatboy was on setting 4.

Glide and Cushion were absolutely fabulous so the Fatboy swiped off the stubbles in 2 smooth and gentle passes.

Applied the Witch Hazel followed by the Aftershave which had quite a bit of a burning sensation. But only for a few seconds. After that the skinfeel with it´s wonderful scent kicked in. I am so impressed and so happy i used this wonderful set.

The Old Spice Original Shave Cream lathered well with the Jayaruh #454 two-band badger brush. Two passes and touch ups with the 1902 Kampfe Brothers/Star Lather Catcher Razor and the Star Wedge Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Humphrey's Witch Hazel and Tabac After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Sunday Schick shave, November 17th 2024

Razor : Schick injector, E type + Canadian variat. Mfg 1930's-40's, made to last generations. Excellent metal folding and stamping technology for that time period.
Blade : SChick injector(3) sharp and smooth with great longevity.
Soap : TOBS Herbal Sandal wood cream, Very nice scent of herbs and sweet sandalwood + excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi "Barber pole" 2band badger. Excellent gentle scrub and painter brush for my shave needs.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Ogallala Bayrum and Sandalwood + a dollop of Geo F Trumper Sandal Wood skin food.
Results : or CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + no weepers= Had a close comfortable shave this morning with my Schick e type injector with SChick blade.

This morning I had an unveiling for my best friend’s Dad who passed away this past December so not a happy day for him or myself. Jaco’s Rooi Afrikaner soap is a tallow based treasure with a very nice herbal/soapy scent, it’s chock full of thick, rich, super slick, protective lather, and such great postshave care. The Lubriderm moisturizer gave me plenty of additional soothing and finally the magnificent Bleu de Chanel trio made me smell like a million bucks. What a brilliant three pass BBS shave this was!
