Oh my goodness did I ever freeze my bloody face off - the Glacial Electric Sheep did a helluva number on me. The scent (to me) is nice, the lather is awesome, the menthol sensation is insane, and the postshave feeling is wonderful. The Stoffel balm is also a bona fide iceberg with lots of soothing as well as moisturizing, and the Floid Vigoroso aftershave packs a strong menthol punch. Finally a little of the Obsession fragrance and that’s it, that’s all. Another super duper three pass BBS shave that I enjoyed immensely!

A comfy shave with the Easy Rider and the lavender heaven of Speick and the Parker Badger. Funny I never really shaved with the grain but it is a revelation how it helps prevent irritation. Aces!

Aand...tomorrow is another Throwback Thursday shave for me-course it falls on Thanksgiving Day, too. This coincidence happens once a year. Anyway, here's the plan for the biiig day:

Razor : Yaqi SLOPE torsional slant 316 SS with a Yaqi Brass nickel coated hollow handle. Mfg 2022>, mild to tame mid range.
Interesting designed slant with excellent machining and great machined finish. One of favorite slants to use.
Blade : Gillette 7oclock Permasharp(3) sharp and smooth with reasonable longevity.
Soap : Razorock Irish Countryside. Very enjoyable scent with excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi " Rainbow" 26mm brown whiskers synthetic. Very nice brush to work the face with a decent knot.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Razorock Irish Country Countryside + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : or CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= Had a close comfortable shave this morning with my Yaqi Slope torsional slant with a Permasharp.

Lather: Pears Transparent bar Soap + Wilkinson Sword Soap bowl.
Blade: Treet Dura Sharp (Carbon) Blue pack. (D2)
Razor: Parker 94R.

Post:
Cold Water Face Rinse./Cold water face wash with brush squeezing's,/Alum Rub./Cold Water Rinse./Homemade (~Autumn/Winter mix~) peppermint lavender, eucalyptus, + Tea Tree essential Oils Mixed Together With Care+Witch Hazel./P&G Old Spice Bearglove ASL Spray. /Cien Men Sensitive ASB.

Another wonderful performance from the Chinese Gillette super speed clone & Treet Dura Sharp to finish my shaving week off wonderfully.

A close comfortable 2 pass + pick ups silky smooth shave with no errors to report.

Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Nivea Men Replenishing PSB.

My face is feeling smooth, & smelling divine.

The LaToja Shaving Stick lathered well with the Heldtite Synthetic Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Schick J3 Golden 500 razor and the Schick Proline B20 Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Granddad's Blend After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
