    DE SOTD, Saturday, November 2nd 2024

    Razor : Yaqi TFC adjustable(black handle variant). Mfg 2021>, all ranges. I really enjoy this adjustable but setting #1 has some blade feel but nothing over that a person should be able to tame with good hand technique. Had a close comfortable stellar close shave this morning.
    Blade : Gillette Astra SS Blue (3) sharp and smooth with reasonable longevity.
    Soap : Yaqi Musketeer rapier, nice scented soap(addictive) with some excellent lather qualities.
    Brush : Yaqi "Deep stones" 24mm synthetic boss knot. Great brush but a bit dark theme to it IMO.
    Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
    Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG(1.5) + ATG(2.5) +(3.5 setting) pickups.
    Post shave : Witch hazel cleanse of beard area+ Yaqi Musketeer rapier + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
    Results : Dial 10 stellar.jpg or CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + no weepers=[​IMG] Had a close comfortable stellar shave this morning with my Yaqi The final Cut adjustable razor with a Astra blue blade. Marvelous shave this morning.

    Razor: Schick “Easy Rider”
    Blade: Schick Injector Blades, 9th use
    Brush: Semogue 1305 boar bristle brush
    Soap: CRSW Fall Limited EditionPuck
    Aftershave: Pinaud Reserve “Gent’s Gin”

    I don’t face lather much with the Semoque 1305 but it wasn’t too bad. The second pass had more lather. The Cold River soap nice and slick both passes. The shave was real smooth with the 9th use of the Schick brand blade.

    Imo Stirling Barbershop is excellent. Stirling products are sooo under priced.
