    TSD Killer Queen
    Jayaruh #133
    Gillette Fatboy
    Wilkinson Sword Super Sword-Edge
    CWR, Asma Alum Block
    T.N. Dickinson's WH
    Aqua Velva Musk AS

The TSD Killer Queen Shaving Cream face-lathered well with my Jayaruh #133 silvertip badger brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Gillette Fatboy with a Wilkinson Sword Super Sword-Edge blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse and alum block, I finished off with T.N. Dickinson's WH and then Aqua Velva Musk After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

just to follow-up, it was a good shave with the C-man soap this morning, those "dabs" of water do help it out.

perhaps a silly question but is that shave soap named after Joanna herself?

    Shaving today 26-11-16
Soap Lavanille, badger silvertip two bands bulb 23 mm brush shavemac, Seygus open comb 6th anniversary foro afeitado, two blade Feather (2), straight razor Vintage Filarmónica José Monserrat Pou medallon taurino banderillas 7/8, after shave and eau de toilette Madras.
To pamper me after yesterday's scare. I stood in front of the furniture where my shaving elements are, and I saw that although I made the wood base my razors, I have had them a little relegated, because it was time to feel not only the displacement of the barber but also the one of the double leaf so I took the Seygus and accompany it of the medallón taurino, later also I noticed a little relegated to the shavemac brush that made me eyes because like it already was its turn, is supposed to foam faster, whatever the characteristic dense and protective foam of these soaps was present, which helps a good performance of safety razor or straight razor, the smell I perceived soft expected stronger so I liked it although I like the Seville more. I closed by making a good match with Madras. Very comfortable skin. B & M just the best.

Now just sing that in Freddie Mercury's voice. The name is an homage to that song and I remember those lyrics being printed in the soap's description in TSD shop. If you want to know what the soap smells like, the description is in the lyrics - it comes with everything above except for the actual stick of dynamite and the laser beam.

    Grand Blade Trial

    Razor - 1962 (H1) Gillette Slim (2)
    Blade - [IMG] (1)
    Soap - Arko
    Brush - BoS Omega 100667
    Post - Alum, Nivea Original

Grand Blade Trial baby! The Bolzano Superinox blade from Germany. I used this blade during German blade days and really liked it. So putting it through its paces shouldn't be a problem.

I remember it as a fairly sharp blade so the mild 2 shouldn't bother it much. We'll see if my memory is faulty or if anything changes. Arko and the BoS for lather and off we go.

First pass was what I expected. Smooth and effective in spite of the gap. Fairly noisy and I always like that. Second pass was more of the same though I didn't think the finish was quite what I expected. After the third ATG and Slides I had a nice DFS. The shave should last a day for me but it isn't as close to BBS as I was hoping. Still, the result is well above average with no blood, very smooth feel and overall a great finish. At 6 this should just get even better.

Changed my routine one tiny bit. Post-shave included Nivea Original to condition my face. It's turned cool to cold and dried out here and on top of a few days of the pain stick my face is a bit rough and raw. Will stick with the Nivea to get it back in its usual perfect, handsome, and sexy state.

Hope your weekend has been a great one! One more day of the Black Friday Sale and I'll be on my weekend ready to sleep!

Three days with a German blade - Let's get ready to celebrate!!

    Omega 11126 boar
    Speick Active soap
    Gillette Slim
    Lab blue [ 4 ]
    Alum Rub/Rinse off
    Floid Vigoroso A/S lotion

Another DE Adjustable Shave, this time a Slim. Learning from yesterday, I opted for a slightly higher setting, and achieved not only a smooth shave , but got nice and close even around the neck. Perhaps because of this am tending to favour the Slim over the Fatboy.
