Friday morning, 1912 Gem Jr SE razor w/ Gem blade (2) Rooney 1/1 Best Badger Brush, Arko shave soap w/ hot water lather, finish w/ cold water rinse for a DFS! We'll be skipping all the Black Friday nonsense at our place!
Friday Razor: Dovo Best Quality 6/8 Brush: Omega Boar Soap: Institut Karite (in Burma Shave mug) A/S: Pinaud Clubman I had the time today, so I finally posted a picture to go with my shave. The Dovo did a great job with my beard and the Pinaud Clubman was a nice finish!
Happy Black Friday.....I'm staying away from any shopping crazies and hope you are too. iKon Brush Silvertip large iKon Bulldog Handle with Tech '3o's retangle grooves-mild iKon SS black razor stand Shark blade Tabac soap Grafton A/S This is my fourth different razor head and by far the best IMHO; did not like the New OC and the triangle grooves were more aggressive than I liked
How do you find the Jack Black SC? I didn't know there was a shave cream. All I have tried of that label (and all I can find in the stores here) is the latherless shave cream, or shave oil...whatever it is. It completely gummed up my razor and was really hard to get off .
I think the Knacks are another one of those fulproof guaranteed great shaves....even if you're "asleep at the wheel"...er, "blade".... That looks like a beautiful example of the breed...
Friday! Hot Shower AOS Travel Best Badger AOS Lemon SC Lord L6 Dorco 301-ST (2) Cool Water Rinse Hyatt Portico Citrus &Lavender Body Lotion Giorgio Body Spray We stopped by the Venetian yesterday and picked up some shave cream. Now off for another day of roaming around!
I really didn't care for it much. The smell was great, but I had to reload my brush to get any thing resembling descent lather which face-lathering. I haven't used the latherless stuff and only used this because my dad had some.
Thanksgiving shave '69 Gillette Super Adjustable, set to 4 7 0'clock black (1st shave) Col. Conk Bay Rum (1st shave) omega 11047 (3rd shave) humphrey's witch hazel Nivea Sensitive Post Shave Balm OK, so I wasn't going to change things up, but I caved... too much stuff to try!! Decent shave, but not as good as the Personna Lab / Provence Sante combination. See, if I'd taken the advice I've seen on here a million times, I wouldn't have changed a thing.. or, if I did make a change, it'd be just one, so I could learn something... as it is, I don't know if it's the 7 o'clock, the Col. Conk, or the combination of both of them that I like less than the previous combo! Oh well.. still a fine shave, and I'm simply loving shaving with all of this neat stuff! Still a win!
I found it at local antique store buried in the back of some other stuff. I picked it up for $5, it cleaned up nicely. Thanks.
Friday, November 25th Razor: Merkur Futur Blade: Polsilver Brush: Savile Row Pre-Shave: Musgo Real Glyce Lime Soap: Colgate Cup Soap A/S: Alt Innsbruck An excellent shave! The Polsilver blade seems to be getting smoother with each shave (shave #3) and the Colgate soap continues to impress. A fine BBS shave followed by the nectar of the Gods...Alt Innsbruck.
