    Monday, November 21, 2011 - Today's the day!
    1. Prep: Hot shower; lather marinade
    2. Coffee: Locally roasted, fresh ground Tanzanian Peaberry w/ cream
    3. Lather: C.O. Bigelow - face lather
    4. Brush: Vulfix 2234
    5. Razor: Gem MMOC
    6. Blade: Pella SS PTFE coated (2); 3 passes
    7. Post: Warm water rinse; cold water splash; California Baby super sensitive face lotion
A wonderful Menthol Monday to you all. The C.O. Bigelow delivered an effortless lather as usual. I've dropped both the Bio-Oil and the Talc for now as one of them (or possibly both) gave me a bright red sunburned type look for a day. Those were the only two products that I also put on my forehead so I know it wasn't from my lather. I'm trying to find out the best post-shave regimen for my dehydrated yet oily face.

Shave Rating - Splendid. God Bless!

What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, but what happens in Lakeland gets posted on the shave forum. :)

I am usually the type that greets the morning with a song but too much snoozing yesterday had me waking up on the wrong side of the bed, and since I am single, both sides were wrong.

I had a deadline of 8am on some paperwork, probably the source of my crankiness, and then confirmed the day's business, and headed in for a shower and shave.

I need to get a nice big soap bar for the shower. EBC has a nice one, maybe I should go over. Oh yea, I also learned about Yardsley's and Walmart in another thread. Well something, I need something.

After an eye opening shower, I set up for an eye opening Menthol Monday.

    The Shave:

Assorted Hot and Cold soaks and wraps
    EBC Pre-shave
    Vulfix 404 Grosvenor Mixed
Gillette 7'ocklock dark blue (4-which means two more)
    MWF
    EJ89
    Witch Hazel
    TSD ISZ Milk
    Barbers Choice Menthol AS
    Caswell Massey Jockey Club Talc

The shave slowed me down and put me in better spirits, except near the end, going atg on the stash I errantly jerked my hand. A weeper. Well we are men, not Devo, so I finished the shave and all the steps, grabbing the styptic after the witch hazel.

Then it was time for my beloved TSD ISZ Milk, some Barbers Choice Menthol AS, and a dusting of talcum.

My face is smooth as can be, and the weeper closed right up. This was the sixth use of the MWF, it's a keeper along with Palmolive Italian and Fraser's Polar Ice. Several others are liked as well. Until the next Bat-Shave...

I love this place, I can't believe how many of you remember Sweet! My playlist:

    Fox on the Run
    Action
    Silverbird
    Lettres D'Amour
    California Nights
My Generation (they were huge Who fans)
    Little Willie Won't Go Home
    Love is Like Oxygen
    Ballroom Blitz

In addition to my new Sweet mix I made a TV theme song mix. My kids showed me how to extract the music out of You-Tube videos and I went a little
crazy with it. Boy does this bring back memories. It's a bit embarrassing but here's the goods:

    Partridge Family
    Barney Miller (actually good music)
    Dick Van Dyke
    Mary Tyler Moore
    Welcome Back Kotter
    Mr Ed
