Tuesday Shave: The Line Up Assorted hot/cold soaks/wraps EBC preshave Vulfix 404 Mixed Proraso Green (sample) EJ 89 Gillette 7 o'clock blue (5) Witch Hazel TSD Bourbon Vanilla Milk Pinaud Lime Sec Caswell Massey Jockey Club Talc Today was one of those days where the razor steered the shave. The proraso, my second use proved to be a fine cream. And face lathering worked great using my starting to break in Grosvenor Mixed. 3+ passes and touch ups, and I had a solid 4.5 blade shave. I love these Gillette Blues, and the Milks are key to my shave. I'm hooked.
Finally I find some time to share my SoS of those past days… Monday: Calani Cadre Noir shave soap Mühle Basic Nr.2 shave brush with Silver Tip Fibre iKon S3S Feather blade (new) Speick Men After Shave This was the third shave with the new iKon and I have to say the fresh Feather blade made a huge difference, compared to the 2 weekend shaves with a 7 o’clock Sharp Edge. Today’s shave really was quite good, although not as thorough nor was the result as long-lasting as with the 11C. In a nutshell, my impression of the S3S is that of a beautiful, well-crafted and well-balanced razor. It is a pleasure holding its 4.6 oz. in the hand (I get the feeling I just repeated myself…). The shaves are however not as fluent yet as I am used to with other razors, a sensation I usually achieve by the third shave… Still, it is a fantastic piece of hard-ware which has the potential to make anyone with a soft spot for solid stainless steel razors a very happy owner indeed. Tuesday: Calani Lavender shave soap Mühle Basic Nr.2 shave brush with Silver Tip Fibre Merkur 11C open comb Feather blade (2.) Speick Men After Shave Wednesday: Calani Dubai shave soap stick Mühle Basic Nr.2 shave brush with Silver Tip Fibre Merkur 11C open comb Feather blade (3.) Speick Men After Shave Both yesterday’s and today’s shave were excellent, as always smooth as silk.

Wednesday 23 November (get away day) C.O. Bigelow cream Berkley 46, face lather Gillette Milord w/ Gillette 7O'Clock Super Platinum Black (D3) Alcolado Glacial and Proraso ASB Another quick two pass shave this morning. I wanted to give the Bigelow another shot, and I have to say, I still don't really care for it. Just doesn't seem to work for me, the lather meh, the smell meh, This is my eigth or ninth use of this cream and I keep putting it away thinking I'm doing something wrong. Maybe its just not for me. A DFS none the less. I hope everyone has a nice holiday weekend.

A little rough along the jaw line, but not too bad.
Whats your product to water ratio like? I haven't ever had a bad shave with Bigelow but it does need thinned down a bit. Dig the Omega, they sure make some fine brushes for little money!

Wednesday: Omega Wooden Handle Super Speed/Rapira day 3 Proraso Aloe & Green Tea SS Svoboda AS Balsam JHL Cologne Our first day of snow, and I decided to use some mentholated stuff. The Proraso White Bowl soap may not have the strongest cooling effect, but you can definitely still feel it. My Svoboda balsam is a product which not only cools very well, it also makes my skin feel like it's born again. What a great shave!
