It's an excellent and very chilly soap, buddy. I think it's the best Mama Bear soap I ever used. :)

Cool & clear this morning, 18ºF/-8ºC and warming to 50ºF/10ºC this afternoon with no breeze to speak of. Menthol Mondays...I don't always jump onboard but did this morning with the Ingrams cream. Lovely stuff with a nice dose of lanolin to boot. The Wade & Butcher was great too and really seems to be holding it's edge nicely. Just a quick strop and it's feels fantastic. Have a good 'un folks.

Forty-six and cloudy this morning. The C.O. Bigelow Shaving Cream face-lathered very easily with my Omega Pro 98 Boar Brush. Two passes with my '47 Gillette Super Speed and Astra SP blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, alum block, and a final cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayers Lemon WH and then Pinaud Clubman after shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

The Omega Pro 49 is coming into fine fashion and worked up a solid lather with the Vintage Williams. The Type F Schick Injector is one of the most aggressive of the injectors made by Schick. It produced a highly efficient 2 Pass BBS again. Another A/S testing and this time it is Master Checkered Flag. It is nice citrusy fragrance but is not a long lasting fragrance in terms of strength so if you want something to last longer seek another product. All in all a very nice shave.

Thanks. Mine really didn't need to be re-plated but a retired AF Colonel I knew back in St. Louis had his done and it was gorgeous so I went ahead and had mine done little over a year ago.

I agree. Have tried in the neighborhood of 7 of her soaps and like this one the best.

New Soap and Menthol Monday Shave

    Pre: Hot water
    Razor: Merkur 23c
    Blade: Personna Lab
    Brush: Omega 10049
    Soap: Tabac!
    After: Osage Rub (Menthol Monday)

I had planned on using Glacial Spearmint for my shave, but a puck of Tabac arrived in the mail today, so I had no choice but to try it. This was the first time I've tried it after reading much about it. I can say it lives up to the hype. Lathers quickly. Thick, rich and foamy. Beautiful and shiny. Slick? Laws yes it is. M-O-O-N that spells slick. A very pleasurable shave. The scent is... intersting. It makes me think of an old lady wearing hairspray. I think that might change the more I get used to it. I'm not sure what a good aftershave would be to pair with it. Since it's Monday I used Osage Rub.

I'm not trying to brag - first of all, thanks for your compliment. :) Here are the languages I'm fluent in:

    1) Hebrew (my first language)
    2) French (a main language for me)
    3) Arabic (6 dialects perfectly and I read and write it as well)
    4) German (a childhood language)
    5) Russian (also a childhood language)
    6) Ukrainian
    7) Polish
    8) Greek (before moving to Canada we lived in Greece for a while)
    9) Yiddish (a childhood language for me)
    10) Swahili (I have many friends from Tanzania, Kenya, and Rwanda)
    11) Lingala (a language spoken in Congo-Kinshasa and Congo-Brazzaville)
    12) English (quite well now - certainly better than before)

I understand Czech, Slovak, Serbian, Macedonian, and Bulgarian, and I can read Farsi and Amharic. (Amharic is spoken in Ethiopia)

Wow, when I was lathering up with the Frost_byte soap the menthol effect hit me so friggin' hard that it caused my eyes to start tearing and my nose to run so it's earned an extra :Animatedfrozensmily: point on my Cracky Wacky Ticky Tacky Menthol Scale. The scent has really grown on me, and the skincare is pretty darned good as well. The Gold Bond moisturizer is a super-cooling and soothing product for anyone with sensitive skin, and the Rubby Dubby Doo really froze me out nicely. This shave was simply awesome. ;) :D

    Brush: Omega 13522
    Razor: Gillette New SC
    Blade: Personna (2)
Post: cool rinse and Captain's Choice Bay Rum

This was my first use of the Godrej shaving round puck. It worked remarkably well for such an inexpensive soap. Brush loaded just fine and the thick and shiny lather came together well in my bowl. 3 passes of meditative like shaving and I am ready to take on the day.

Another excellent shave with Tabac! Sometimes I think about only using Tabac everyday, but I'd miss the unique scents and character of other soaps.
Tabac pairs well with bay rum, and one of the best of this scent is Krampert's it has a less cloven note and plenty of glycerin and other face friendliness.

    Prep: Proraso Green pre barba
    Soap: Tabac!
    Brush: HIS
    Razor: iKon SC101
    Blade: Personna lab blue (1)
