Changed blades and since the Rainbow is a mild blade for me, I set the Variant at 3 1/4. Sweet Spot! Another very smooth, comfortable shave that left my face really happy. I'll try some other settings with this blade just to be sure I hit the right spot. So now I'm ready to go impress the ladies at the feed store. Out of chicken feed. Now go enjoy your day folks.

 

SOTD: Vintage Frederick Fenney 'Tally Ho' 7/8"; Crowne & Crane 'Tobacco Leaf & Amber' tallow soap; Omega 49 Pro boar; C&C 'Tobacco & Amber' aftershave balm. Smooth, close shave except for a wayward cheek slice that bled like a river.

TOBS Avocado Cream today. 20 seconds to load the JB Silvertip. Easy, thick, slick, lather. Gillette 7 O’Clock Green SS still in the FH Tech. Excellent smooth, close shave. I finished with CC Frozen Vetiver aftershave.

Paired the 7 `o clock (sharp) with the super mild SS. Worked like a charm. Two passes without even a hiccup, smooooth, clean and understated. My face hasn`t felt this good in weeks. I have a "thing" in the corner of my mouth. The Dr. told me what it was, but there`s no way I can pronounce it. I am so happy with this BBS shave I could turn cart wheels (sure). WTG/ATG, a minor clean up and a Happy Camper, wishing the same for all. God bless.

I was all ready for a very decadent shave last night. Tabac and the Cooper MonoBilt! What could spoil the fun? The Lord platinum class. My first time trying it and to me it was about on par with the Gillette Rubie. It was tuggy, reduction and was awful. This led to much buffing during the final pass and some sting from the Alum. I will bin that blade and look forward to using some decadent Russian Steel for my next shave. Here's to next time . Hope you all do better then me today!

Autostrop VC1/GEM, Krona/Feather. Great shave all around with the GEM even picking up a bit of the toughest head stubble the Feather left behind.

 

You guys'll never believe this - instead of going with the Tibet cream this morning, I had a last minute change of mind and went with the Gada Cool Mint which I had originally selected. The results were great because I wound up BBS in two easy passes. I enjoyed the rich, creamy lather, the minty/lemony scent, and the nice, invigorating menthol sensation. Whenever I use this cream my skin feels so smooth, comfortable, and relaxed with zero irritation. The Lucky Tiger balm added to the skincare, and the Black Powder aftershave splash got me compliments and kisses from my lovely wife!

One of my favorite razor/blade combinations and on it's fourth shave producing an excellent three pass BBS shave. I just picked up the Aqua Velva Musk the other day and I like how the scent lasts a good amount of time, really nice.
