I LOVE so much the Tet-a-tet cream and aftershave balsam. They both have that great scent and nice menthol cooling which I cherish!

A great shave. This razor holds a soft spot for me, its the razor I learned to hone on. I struggled and even now its one of the toughest razors I own to hone.

Forgot to Post My Friday Shave:

    Finally Feel a Little Better

Took a late shave last nite so with customers calls till just one I decided on a slow evening shave. After the second pass, I knew I was in rarefied air. After the third, the question rang out in my head, should I go for a BBS.

    Manager's Line Up

    Assorted Soaks and Splashes
Proraso pre/post (also used after witch hazel)
    Vulfix 404 Mixed
    EJ 89 Lord Platinum (4)
    Witch Hazel

Check out Jerry Garcia's bluebrass project, Old and in The Way from the 70's. Our first set every other Sunday is bluegrass and it is tough taking those leads.

But if I play nice (l0l) i get to mix some Dead tunes and stuff for the following sets.

Johnny, the Wilkie is in absolutely perfect condition except, like a lot of them, it is missing one of the small end caps. It does not affect the mechanics nor shave quality at all. It took me a while but paid about $75 plus shipping which isn't bad considering what other "grail" razors sell for IMHO.

    Saturday:

    Omega Wooden Handle
    Super Speed/Rapira day 3
Bozzano Sensitive SC :love029: :love029::smiley freezing: :smiley freezing:
    Keri unscented moisturizer
Max Refreshing AS :love029: :love029: :smiley freezing: :smiley freezing:
    JHL Cologne

This Bozzano Sensitive cream from Brazil has a HELL of a lot of menthol - in fact it can easily compete with Proraso Green cream or soap for the cooling effect. The scent is very strong and eucalyptus-like, but it's still quite nice and it doesn't last so long after a shave. The Max Refreshing aftershave is also very icy. My face feels so cool and comfortable! ;) 146669.jpg max_refreshing.jpg

I see you are listing the blades you use as GEM stainless steel PTFE. What are they, and how do you like them? Where did you get them?
I have been using the GEM stainless steel ones that I can purchase at a local walgreens. They have worked pretty good, but I am bit confused by some of the designations on theese blades. The GEM stainless steel that I purchase just say GEM, when you open them up it says stainless steel.

    Just curious.

    Saturday 3 December

    Starbucks Italian Roast Black
    Proraso white soap
    Omega boar, 10015, face lather
Gillette Milord w/ Gillette 7O'Clock super platinum black (D3)
    Alcolado Glacial and Proraso ASB

Again, no picture because I haven't made it out for batteries. I know, I know, I promise to do better.

This was a three pass BBS shave, a great shave. My daughter came in the middle of the second pass just to watch and sniff my shave brush. She said "it smells good daddy". I'm training her early. I was so proud.

I deeply regret not being able to get a picture of her holding the brush full of lather giving it a big sniff.

Well, everyone have a great weekend, mine is off to a great start.
