Lord knows I miss our barn cat who died several years ago. I named him Barnie for no apparent reason. He would follow me wherever I went and jump in my lap when I sat down to have a sandwich for lunch and purr contentedly. He kept all unwanted vermin away. Enjoy your kitty.

An excellent shave this morning. The weather forecast says it will be "very windy and raw" today, so I decided to use a balm to finish the shave. Speick is a good one, but a little bit goes a long way. Now I'm ready to walk dogs on the hillsides surrounding the pet shelter where I volunteer.

I had a wonderful "Brazilian barbershop" shave this morning with this Palmindaya cream which I received yesterday. It has amazing lather with a very, very nice traditional scent and a good amount of menthol. From what I've been told, barbershops in Brazil use this stuff to shave their customers. The Barbon aftershave feels like heaven after a shave. :biggrin:

I didn't really have high hopes for the Schick II Twin Blades, but I really got a good shave from them. I am sure it is mostly that it is a good smooth sharp edge, rather than the fact that there are two blades, but a good shave just the same.

 

I did a double Wilky shave this morning.
Wilk Sticky, Wilk vintage England blade black label, Plisson 16, MdC from Bullgoose Phil, and Tet-a-Tet AS. Loved the Wilk blades but not sure what year(s) they might be?

Very fine BBS shave on this Tuesday morning despite nursing a cold. The Men-U brush is getting softer and I really like it! It's just a little smaller than the Omega, but works almost just as well.

Shave was significantly less enjoyable than the first with this Shark, as I ended up with some neck burn. Feels like an off morning, maybe too much pressure.

Tuesday's Shower and Shave
A hot shower while showering my Parker Badger was warming up.
Today's soap choice was MWF. The Parker did a superb job lathering it.
I choose the Gillette Fat Handle Tech loaded with a Voskhod blade.
After three passes I did a warm water rinse,then a cold water splash, finished it with Kapo.
I had a fantastic DFS.

I received a package from Jeff (Crackstar) yesterday evening that contained three interesting creams. I reached for the Tibet Lather (Forest Fresh) this morning and was not disappointed. The scent is nostalgic and kind of reminds me of Edge Gel and the performance is excellent. I was not sure how the cream would lather so used way too much cream...I could have shaved an army. The Futur and Durasharp blade proved to be a great combination and I enjoyed an irritation free BBS shave. A splash of Alt Innsbruck and I am ready for this spring-like fall day.

A REAL shower, at home!?! Say it ain't so! There just isn't a way to describe the feeling of being made clean in your own home. I think we ran in to Tuesday somewhere over Colorado, we landed in Detroit at 0600. WOW, what a long day and night... and day.

It was fantastic to be hit with warm weather and humidity when we got off the plane. Oh how I love you! The most Florida-type scent I have in my Den is the Mango Coconut .. you just smell like you are going to have a day at the beach when you use these fragrances and a day at the beach would fix me up just right. The desert-weather attacked my skin and didn't play nice.

Our Vegas vacation was a fantabulously wonderful time, but there is no place like home!
