The Mongoose got the nod again today and will likely be my everyday razor until I at least try the five different blades I received from Try a Blade.

 

Normally i don't shave on Sundays but with today being St. Nicolas day (our Santa showing up) as well it being Finnish Independence Day, i decided to look neat.
The setup consisted, as it does all this month, of Fitjar Fjellheim shave cream, Muehle shave brush, Fatboy with Feather, Alum and Musgo balm.

Getting Ready to Go Back Home​

I am getting ready to go back home and, as usual, before leaving, it is good to shave. I used this Mastro Livi "the last new grind" as it has been the straight razor I took with me in this business trip. I also took with me my shaving soap, bay rum and pre-shave oil, therefore having what I call "a RazorGuy shave". My shaving soap proves to be, once again, a super performing soap, providing a very good cushion to the straight razor as well as a very good post shave sensation. A splash of my Bay Rum aftershave and I am ready to pack and leave.​

Busy day today so I'm a little late posting this. Excellent shave and I tried out a L'Occitane product I picked up on Friday. It's a very nice balm however, I wish the scent was just a bit stronger.

Excellent shave tonight. TSD Coconut has to be my favorite TSD soap and aftershave. Adding a little, ok, a lot make for a very cool comfortable shave. the 38C is just an okay razor IMHO. I bought it so I keep it in my rotation. The 10066 brush has come to life over the last couple of weeks. It is an excellent brush.
