    SHAVE OF the day Saturday
    20151114_102317.jpg

    Razor: Gillette ball end tech
    Blade: rainbow (1st use)
    Brush: as badger
    Soap: ppf oakmoss& sage
    Post: B&M Leviathan

Had a decent 2 pass shave this morning. The PPF made a nice lather and has a nice scent. The rainbow Blade seemed good so far. No tugging or pulling. Finished off with Leviathan which was a great way to end the shave. Hope everyone has a great weekend.

    image.jpeg Razor: Feather AS-D2 2015
    Brush: Stirling Synthetic 26/63 2015
    Mug: Van Der Hagen
Cream: The Body Shop Maca Root cream
    Blade: Feather (7)
Post shave: Thayers Cucumber WH, Nivea Men Post Shave Balm, Old Spice original Shulton 1956 glass AS Stopper #3

Day 7 of shaving my Dads way. Bathroom smells great from the Maca Root cream sitting out in the mug. I may have to shave like this all the time, at least leave the cream in the mug. I'll use something different next week. But every thing else will get cleaned.

Whipped up a good bit of lather for a quick 2 pass shave. Finished with the WH, and then some Nivea. The Feather blade on day 7 was ok, but normally I would have pitched it already. I think my limit is definitely gone up on number of shaves from the Feather from the 2 days I had been using. I had to use more pressure than the no pressure technique I normally use, and got some burn. So this was a very enlightening experiment. I found that I had been using way too much product for my daily shave, and leaving the cream in the mug doesn't hurt anything. You also get the bonus of a great smelling barroom. There was no rust or anything bad living in the Feather Razor, and it cleaned right up. Of course the Feather razor and blade are stainless, so I did not anticipate any issues. Now, if I want, I can get a fast 2 pass shave, and be done in about 5 minutes or less and not feel guilty about leaving the stuff for the next shave, and save money on blades and product! Which is what this is all about, right? WIN WIN!!! Y'all have a good one.

    Old Spice Fresh aftershave

This razor doesn't give me the best shave but I still like to get it out now and then and give it a run. As always, a great lather with Derby and a terrific scent from the Old Spice Fresh.

    Razor: Gillette Slim Adjustable (7)
    Blade: Personna Platinum (7)
Brush: WDC-4 Silver Tip (VIG knot) Butterscotch handle (Whipped Dog) 24/67
    Soap: Captain's Choice Bay Rum
    A/S: Captain's Choice Bay Rum
    TSD M Bomb

Early shave this afternoon. Happy to be on my last day with the Gillette Slim. I get good shaves with the Slim, but I just don't care for how it feels in my hand. Adding 4 drops of TSD M Bomb made for a great cooling shave. It's a good product. I had a DFS with 3 passes along with a good finish with he Captain's Choice Bay Rum.
Looking forward to Shave Den Sunday shave with my new TSD 2x Yin Yang shaving soap and A/S.

I do some cat-sitting on occasion, and yesterday I noticed the owner has L'Occitane soap(a block). Presumably just for ladies.

Lots and lots of menthol for this shave as well as two great products from two great artisans named Brian. Brian Hoffman, the owner of the First Canadian Shave Soap Company created the Polar Vortex soap which is a lather monster and a menthol atom bomb with good, in fact terrific skincare. Brian Krampert, of Krampert's Finest has the Frostbite aftershave which is another awesome iceberg which smells really nice and soothes the skin so well. The Lucky Tiger a/s cream is also plenty chilly and wonderful! ;) :D
