Decided to face lather this morning with the 1305 ans SAO soap to good effect...three passes and a BBS shave.

 

After the usual 1-2 minute hot towel prep:

old scritchy Rooney badger(great for soaps)
fatboy/Feather
Muhle Sea Buckthorn SS
Muhle Aloe Vera AS
vintage Old Spice(used as cologne)

Nothing like a shave with a new feather. Very smooth and comfortable, and a very nice job of whisker whacking this morning.

Thursday: Parker 65r & NN3P / Astra Superior Plat blade / Lord SC / Rooney 3-1 brush / Barbasol Brisk Aftershave

I love the feel in my hand & look of the Parker 65r but it never gives me a good shave, had to finish with the NN3P.

Oh, what a great shave this morning! Smooth, comfortable, and absolutely BBS. And the Ogallala A/S provided a fine finish, leaving my face feeling refreshed and leaving its addictive (to me, anyway), but subtle, scent in the air. I’m ready for the day now.

I recently received a sample of Ginger's Garden Tallow based shaving soap from Irena and decided to give it a spin with my newly acquired Shavemac D01 brush. The soap lathered easily and provided nice cushion and glide. The scent (Country Club which Irena describes as an Archipelago Havana Type fragrance) was not for me but fortunately, Irena offers many scents. I enjoyed a great shave and the Musgo Real was a pleasant finish.

 

I put the sample in the tin. Works great!

Real nice and close shave..im liking the Red Perssonas (thanks to Goby) and the EJ Sea Buckthorn Cream has a great scent, nice lather and cushions well..had to mess with the water for a bitt but I really liked it. and it came FREE with my EJ SET!! Superior 70 bay rum 11oz for $2 and smells great, tones nice without drying!!

Thanks Boy, after seing yout SOT post on Superior 70 im glad i picked some up, and its real cheap so thats always a plus!
