I required a vegan shave soap due to skin reactions to the tallow stuff. Same great scent provided by Rod and Mandy though. It was cool of them to help make this full set possible, including bath soap and deodorant. This set is one-of-a-kind.

 

Its very fresh and has that ocean scent. Also comes with a GLASS bottle! which is unheard of for drugstore after shaves nowdays!

The Weber/Astra combo is always good for me. The VeraSoapCo SS worked well again (D2) today. Got an abundance of lather that worked well and gave great skin care. The Plissoft brush is soft but a little dense for my liking. Still gave a nice lather, just a bit of a lather hog. So, my face is happy and I'm ready to go. Now go enjoy your day folks

 

Hi, here's today's SOTD-



This morning I used an English Gillette 1940's style Rocket and a Canadian Gillette Blue Blade from 1961. Proraso Red provided an excellent lather. The aftershave splash was Pinaud Clubman Special Reserve, which I like very much. My Mrs. Likes it too. Vintage English Leather was the kicker. It was a very pleasant shave. BBS in two passes. Henri et Victoria Nautilus today. 20 seconds to load the Turtleship Silvertip brush. Easy, thick, slick, lather. Personna Med Prep in the Gillette NEW LC. Excellent smooth, close shave. I finished with Bulgari Blue aftershave.

It feels so good when everything works right! The meds kicked right away. The Proraso whipped up just right, and the razor, paired with a Twinjector blade sailed over my face almost perfectly (one very small pink dot). A 2 pass, WTG/ATG shave with clean ups between each pass, and a cold water "bath" took care of the pink dot, and Voila !! An almost perfect shave. Happy camper are I, wishing the same kinda shave for all. God Bless.
