Ha! Thanks. I was thinking it was one of my poorer attempts. I appreciate the ego boost.

Me too. I love what DeltaEcho can do to rejuvenate an ancient razor. Don't get me wrong, I do treasure my unaltered vintage razors and use them frequently (namely my Star 1912), but it's nice to have the modern flair on the vintage base on occasion.

    Razor - Qshave Futur Clone
    Blade - [IMG] (1)
Soap - Route 66 Sweeney Todd
    Brush - 30DC LE
    Post - Alum & Styptic

Still working with the Qshave and it stayed on 3 for today's shave. I did change to a "real" blade after two days with the Qshave blade. The Bic CP is one of my favorite non-Russian blades that I don't use nearly enough so we'll give it a go. Along with the Sweeney Todd and 30DC brush I had fantastic lather and a sharp blade to give this razor a good run for its money.

I'd have to call this a bloody good shave. No, I'm not British. The finish after two passes and touch up is smooth, smooth, smooth, as in BBS. However, I took two pretty nice sized weepers to the right side of my neck. Didn't feel anything, but I'm pretty sure the sharper Bic blade and a little extra pressure did the damage. Alum was quiet on my face, warm on my neck to hot where I got over zealous. It did almost end the bleeding but I had to use just a touch of styptic to fully stop it. So, can't call it a true BBS, but nearly so.

I'm beginning to feel this razor more intuitively. Angles are getting automatic with it and the only thing I really need to watch closely is the pressure. This thing weighs enough that it requires no help from me to do its job. Just gotta keep working on that.

Tomorrow night I'm going to go with the Bic blade again and dial up to 4. Let the games continue!

Due to circumstances beyond my control I had to change my setup. I used a Valobra stick and I got plenty of rich lather for a nice BBS shave. A splash of Booster Polar Ice completed the job!

    Have a great weekend!

Thank you. Nuávia is very good soap, not sure I would say the best soap. Here is a thread that discussed the soap. http://theshaveden.com/forums/threads/nuavia.54248/

Brisk Saturday morning. Excellent time for a quick 2 pass shave that the OneBlade made short work of. The Narciso is perfect for the cool weather with a pepper, neroli and musk vibe with staying power to boot. In other words, it was a great shave..... Enjoy the day and shaves Gents. :happy088:
