My first shave of this week was a great pleasure thanks to my cherished Super Speed and a new Astra blade. The Glacial MITA soap lathered so beautifully and froze the living daylights out of me. The Glacial Unscented balm and the Arctique both went on mega-frigid and with such fantastic soothing.

Easy shave this morning. Great lather from the Palmolive stick and all worked together quite well.

Shave #3 with this razor/blade from the Dollar Tree store and I can hardly believe how good the shaves are. BBS over the weekend and DFS today. Amazing that a $1.00 razor can do so well. My face is very happy and I'm ready to go even though got no place to go except to clean the work shop. Now go enjoy your day folks.

BLADE: Pacific Double Edge blade - 6th shave with this razor & blade
PREP: hot water wash with Ivory Soap and rinse
BRUSH: Shea Moisture Badger Brush - produces an excellent rich lather
PRESHAVE: Tree Hut Shea Body Butter - Coconut Lime - adds nice moisture & slickness
SOAP: Hybrid Soap Col.Conk LIME & Williams Mug Shave soap - I melted the Lime soap & dropped in a Williams puck to make this combo. NICE!
POST SHAVE: Hot water rinse.
AFTERSHAVE: Barber Shop Classics BOOSTER ICED LIME
BALM: NONE NEEDED

Got a great 3 pass BBS shave! No touch ups - no issues. Very efficient.
This is a nice razor and an excellent deal!

WSP Formula T Ol’ Kentucky today. 20 seconds to load the Mozingo Silvertip brush. Easy, thick, slick, lather. Vintage Gillette “Spoiler” SS still in the Gillette Slim. Excellent smooth, close shave. I finished with Country Club Southern Oud aftershave.

That razor hasn't reached my Dollar Tree yet. If it had, I would have snatched it up. Still looking. Glad to hear you are getting great shaves with it. Technique trumps tools.

A very good shave, even with total chaos. I was going to use the Personna/Twinjector, but I couldn`t get a new blade injected, so the only razor loaded was the Hawk. I had already filled the little white bowl with the canned Foamy and ready to go, so I used the Hawk with amazing efficiency. Go figure! A 2 pass, WTG/ATG/ shave with an XTG slurry for clean up, I do believe I have one of my better shaves. I finally got the Personna loaded with a new Twinjector. Right now, I`m clean as a whistle and loving it. The wonders of wet shaving never seize to amaze me. I can`t decide between Proraso (which I love) and the cheap canned lather, woe is me. Here`s to a great shave for one and all. God Bless to each.

Menthol Monday
Excellent shave today. The Cube started the chill, and Reserve Cool finished it off right. The lather was epic and easily made with the Stirling Boar. Post shave feel is comfortable and smooth.

It took me a while to get my hands on a Futur Clone. Glad I did. Enjoying an aggressive DE, setting 4-1/2 provided ample beard reduction with no errors.
