Hi, tonight's SOTD-



1940/41 Gillette Ranger Tech.
Vintage Gillette Blue Blade.
Simpsons Special S-1 pure badger brush.
Lizzie's Lather of Glenwood Ia./Silver Dollar City Mo. shave soap.
Pinaud Clubman splash.
Vintage English Leather cologne.

This was my first use of this particular type of Lizzie's Lather shave soap, and although the lather dissipated fairly quickly, it did provide sufficient slickness and left my skin soft to boot. And it has a pleasant scent too. I have two more pucks to try, and I'm looking forward to it. They are all different scents. The Ranger Tech is still a great performer for me, as well as the vintage Gillette blade. All in all it was a very pleasant shave. A two pass DFS! Have a great night everyone!

Next to the last shave for OCtober and it's the same setup as last night just with the LE brush. Lather was a bit better tonight thanks to what I learned last night. More water makes T&H happy! I think at some point I'll give it a shot with either badger or boar or both to see what they do as well. Not saying my synthetics aren't working, but curious to see if there's a better option.

Two passes and slides to another BBS and the alum was even quieter tonight than last night. Dialed in baby! One more shave with this setup and then off to something totally different for NOVember!!

It's been a long time since I used Shulton, but I'd say they're closer to that than P&G.

Tobacco Tuesday
Outstanding shave from WSP today, a less talked about artisan, but one that provides top notch products. The soap yielded slick lather to the boar and built easily on my face. The matching balm is one of the best I've used and it includes a nice menthol chill.

A fine three pass shave this morning with the Gillette Sensor 5. I am smooth and refreshed. Enjoy your day friends. ☺️

Easy shave this morning. Nice lather from the Wilkinson stick and a smooth ride with the G8 injector. Overall nice results.
