No, it's a Vulfix VS/5. Nice, inexpensive boar brush.

    Cool.

    ...

Never a fan of ASBs, I picked up this Nivea cooling balm on a whim today - and I must say my impression of this breed of aftershave hasn't changed. Dissatisfied, I thew on some AV splash to complete the shave.

Tomorrow I'm trying to the alcohol-free sensitive balm, which, owing to its lack of alcohol, I assume is merely a light-weight moisturizer.

This little plisson loves to make great lather with the MWF,....It's magic the way it produces a lot of lather with a little 20mm knot

  14. After the usual 1-2 minute hot towel prep:

Muhle 'HJM' boar brush( Thanks Fozzy)
    Sticky/Feather
    DR Harris Marlborough SS
Muhle Sea Buckthorn AS(thank you again Fozzy)
    TGQ 'Leatherneck' extrait

Thanks to my buddy Michael, I have a new brush to play with. Heh, I haven't used a boar bristle in years, but I keep hearing all the great comments on some of these from other members. I had good luck whipping up a nice lather today, and look forward to it breaking in a bit over the next couple weeks.

Yeah, I know it's 3 piece week, but I couldn't resist using the Sticky with a Feather in it. Well, this is the right blade for the Sticky........best shave yet with this nice razor loaned to me by Brian. Man, I really like the scent of this AS......very nice.

A very close and quite comfortable BBS shave this morning.

Wonderful Saturday shave. Treet Black Beauty blades give me 2 shaves per but those shaves are great.

Great shave this morning. This brush is just a beast. Just a few swirls in the soap and I had enough lather for 4 passes and a good face washing.

    Razor: Edwin Jagger DE87
Blade: Astra Superior Platinum (shave #4)
Soap/Cream: Body Shop cream (Old Formula)
    Brush: Vulfix Super Badger
    A/S: Proraso splash

A fine BBS shave with the DE87, although I prefer a longer handle. The Proraso splash felt great with its cooling effect, even though the weather has turned quite cool here.
