I recently received a sample pack of Indian Wilkinson blades and decided to give one a spin this morning. I found the blade to be both smooth and sharp and I plan on getting more...they are that nice. The MWF produced its usual creamy lather and I enjoyed an irritation free BBS shave. The Royall Bay Rhum is great for any season.

Yep, it is basically a bar handle New with a shorter handle so that it could fit in a Tuckaway style case. I have a thing for any razor that comes in a Tuckaway style case.

 

Oh no! I feel my RAD relapsing. :shocked031 That's a great looking razor that I now, of course, must find.

Thanks! Actually my first use of it. I haven't done any work on it yet, I wanted to try it in original state first. I'd like to put a more dense boar knot in it. We'll see.

Nivea makes a fantastic SC but its balms are horrid. Yesterday I tried the Cooling, which I didn't find refreshing and consequently had to go back and use splash proper atop it.

Today I tried the Sensitive balm, nothing more than a lightweight moisturizer. Incredibly unsatisfying

I don't like the concept of throwing alcohol on my face without moisturizing afterward. ASBs seem to attempt to reconcile this by performing both tasks in one but do neither task well enough to justify their use.

Both balms go back to CVS; and I'll continue using the splash of my choice with my favorite moisturizer
