It felt so wonderful to use my Dovo today, because I hadn't been able to use it since before my cataract operation. Now, my eyesight is super, and I feel so much more confident. I can shave myself as well as, or even better than any barber!

A great shave this morning with one of my favorite razors and one of my favorite soaps. It doesn’t get much better than this. I originally bought the Vulfix 2006 (a very inexpensive brush) to use as a travel brush. However, I’m finding myself using it fairly frequently at home, especially with soaps. It has just the right “scritch” factor for me--it helps to wake me up with an invigorating face massage while also efficiently working the lather into my beard. And the Nivea was fresh and cooling, as advertised!

A nice sophisticated shave for a Sunday morning. Eton College by TOBS is to die for. The scent is terrific and it matches up very nicely with Pinaud. Thanks for the recommendation, K! Everything turned out quite nicely.

The Cyril Salter soap and Shavemac brush produced copious amounts of rich and thick lather with a great lavender scent. Today's shave was my 1st with a Parker Razor. The Parker 11R has a natural horn handle and proved to have a nice weight and balance. It proved to be a fairly mild shaver and provided me with a 4 pass BBS shave with no irritation. The Mr. Taylor aftershave provided an excellent finish.

Another quality shave. The Semogue 2000 is starting to really improve after a week of use. I can't say enough about the shave of the Ikon. This is one smooth shaver!

Day 7 of 3 Piece Razor Week

Took a couple days off after that Hospital Brand razor made my face a little raw. This was my first time using the Connaught Luxury Shaving Cream, and in conjunction with the Pal razor gave a very nice shave. The only downside would have to be the Gillette Super Thin blade, while it worked well enough, it just wasn't as smooth as a Sharp Brand blade is for me.
