Went on the mild side today because I did do a quick two pass shave late last night to get rid of some stubble, just felt like doing it. Today's shave was very smooth and produced a nice BBS shave.

 

I don't remember that scent but it sure does sound great. To this day I'm still freaked out over the Glacial MITA!

Henri et Victoria Cognac & Cuban Cigars today. 20 seconds to load the Henri et Victoria HMW. Easy, thick, slick, lather. Wilkinson Light Brigade still in the Red Tip. Excellent smooth, close, shave. I finished with Henri et Victoria Cognac & Cuban Cigars aftershave.

I noticed that a few days ago. Maggards is a wonderful place to do business with. I am lucky enough to live about an hour away and go up there quite a bit. That's great they are making it easier for international shipping.

Had a very nice 3 pass shave this morning. Got a creamy lather from the Gustafsons soap, and the nice mix of cedarwood and lavender filled the whole bathroom. I really like the new soap formula that Gustafsons came out with, they took public opinion and tweaked the formula, and man what a difference. Hats off to them for their willingness to change the recipe. Ended up with a BBS finish, hope everyone has the same results!

Thanks Roby! The handle has some paint chipped away near the bottom, but I found it in a free box at Maggards so no conplaints. Shaves great!

 

Hey Friends,

i´m a little late to post my midday shave. It´s my Daddy´s Birthday, so now i have 5 minutes... It´s my "personal" Gillettober. Today i used the following equipment:


1930 Gillette New // Trig // Speick // 22mm Bock Beehive Silvertip // Speick

Great shave all over. I don´t know why i used no Speick for a soooo long time. It smells delicious and the lather is absolutely top notch. Just on point!!! Shiny, thick and very slick lather where my 1930 Gillette New could fly through.I´ve used my very first "high quality" brush again after...let me think...i don´t know when i used it the last time.... Didn´t know how good this brush performs. And i find it good looking too.
