The L'OCCITANE Cade Shaving Soap face-lathered well with my Jayaruh Bumble Bee brush. Two passes and touch ups with the English made Gillette Goodwill razor with a Personna Super blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse and alum block, I finished off with T.N. Dickinson's WH and then Pinaud Vegetal After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

 

It's cold indeed, but NOT the coldest.

 

A BK-8 is on my brush "bucket list".

I’ve been doing a little speed shaving the last couple of days, which have been yielding some close, comfortable shaves (CCS).

Pre-shave: Nope
Razor: 1961 Gillette 195 Adjustable "Fat Boy” (WTG = 5 & ATG = 5)

Soap / Cream: Cremo Cooling
Water: Cold
Alum Block: Nope
Post Shave: Thayer's Witch Hazel with Aloe & Thayer’s
Aftershave Balm: Nope
Aftershave: Chiseled Face Groomatorium Summer Storm

 

Let me know. I have a brand new kent brush and stand, unopened and new, that i would sell. I wont ever use it.

A DE Shave -
First time with a DE for a couple of months , always aware of how they bit when I came off Cartridges. Tend to stick with a Lab Blue , which I know goes well with the Razor. Never have been keen on high settings on an
Adjustable , so with a relatively mild setting had a very nice comfortable shave. Very pleased with the quality of the Shave,which was achieved without any problems. Will probably do a few more shaves with DE using the blade up.
