Semi Great shave today.. brush performed well in terms of whipping up lather and not hogging too much. Razor had not been honed in awhile but it was a good thing that I took the opportunity to now give it a new edge. B&M as always performs well.

I bet he'll remember what it was...I think I have his text/phone info at his college. Another Colorado area favorite scent is Blue Spruce. There's even a cottage community named for it.

Hybrid ATT SE1 on WCS 175S Handle / Feather ProGuard /H.L. Thater 2018 Wild Olive Wood SE / WCS Oriental Cream

Well, the SE1/SB mellowed out this blade nicely, but still not the near one pass laser the Kai Captain Titan ProTouch MG is with the open comb SE2, the deciding factor could well be how long the Feather holds up, the Kai was done at three shaves. We'll see if the feather maintains an edge longer and go from there.

Next to last shave for the month. Staying with the NEW LC and Voskhod, went to the Stirling Bay Rum and stayed with a Jayaruh brush, just #54 this shave. Awesome setup for an awesome 3 pass shave. My wife loves the traditional Bay Rum scents and watched me shave tonight so she could soak up the aroma. BBS finish with quiet alum and that's the way to almost wrap up a month.

Tomorrow night I'll bring OCtober to a close in my den with Matthew the haunted NEW SC Deluxe in a late night candlelight shave. It is Samhain after all - Halloween to most. Gotta let the spirits have their fun. Even those attached to classic razors!

Thanks Jamie. For him I think it is something in the Stirling base because he has been having trouble with Cherry also. I thought maybe the Bay Rum may have been a bit rough for him, and the Pumpkin Spice has cinnamon, but the Cherry should be ok unless it was something in the base. He likes the PAA soap base - Banana is his favorite. They work great with his skin, so I think I will probably get him the Coconut Lime Bay. Peace.
