    Thank you, @ischiapp !

    Thank you, @AlfredoT

Thanks, @Electrif. I have quite an extensive collection of these. It wasn't that difficult to curate prime specimens, because these models have very heavy chrome plating. Every one of mine have flawless finishes, and they're in my top 4 favorite shavers.

I don't know a thing about vintage cameras, but this is very cool.

Thanks! As far as compact cameras go, these are quite good ones. Especially the Olympus XA is very popular i think. Good optics, manual focus and aperture control. And the batteries can last over a year.

Did i say that with a little luck these can be found very cheaply, just like old razors? ;)

No, you did not and I have witnesses!

I am not good at shooting pictures, as anyone can understand just watching my SOTD's.
But you made me feeling like taking a picture of a camera I have... ;)

And I disagree old razors are cheap. Here, at least! :angry019:
    They used to be... :(

Actually i quite like your pictures.

Take a pic of the camera!

Yeah, everything is getting expensive. I have found some good razors for very little money, but the hunt can last long. Just like with cameras, some people are asking for absolutely crazy amounts of money, but then again you could find something like an Olympus MJU2 for 1€ at a random thrift store. I've seen some people ask around 300€ for those.

Happy Friday! Sun peaking out behind some cloudy skies but the weekend is quickly approaching so it’s all good. The mighty Merkur 45 has been calling to me from the shelf and today I showed it some love. Quite the little beast this one and a looker too. I have enjoyed my shaves with it and today it was loaded with a Personna Lab Blue.

Soap today Stirling Agar with the matching AS. It really is a sweet smelling Oud and I really like the warm scent. Great soap of course being Stirling.

Three wonderful passes and another DFS/BBS finish logged in the books. The 45 is quite a light razor but as long as you are careful and don’t apply too much pressure it is a joy to use. Happy Friday all! Stay safe and enjoy your shaves!

I am glad you do: would you sign such a statement?

And I will put tje camera into one of the next shots!

Years ago I bought vintage Gillettes for almost nothing.
That depends on where you buy it, even at flea markets.
IF they do not know what they are selling... :D
But, in case they do... :(

Thanks God I do not need ant other razor, I even sold a couple of them as I have many razors, but just one face and cannot shave more than once a day!

It's the pleasure of the hunt, the satisfaction of the bargain...
