    (Halloween Face & Head Shave.)

    Greetings,

    (German DE razor week.)

Since i was kid, Halloween night has always been something i've looked forward to it's hard to imagine around the world this evening that parents, grandparents friends neighbours won't be having the usual mass visiting Trick-orTreating presence from Wolverines, Michael Myers, Witches, Werewolfs, Mother-In Laws, Zombies, Vampires, Frankensteins, Mummys & Daddys, Beatlejuices, Batmans, Batwomen, Jokers, Freddy Kruegers,Chuckys,Jason Voorhees knocking on the door queuing up for the boat load of goodies people normally have for them around the world to mark this 'spooky Halloween Trick-or Treating event'.
It's extremely hard explaining to some children about this Covid-19 pandemic madness. 'Ignorance is bliss for them'. Enough said.

I've modified the normal Trick-or Treating activities for the evening and will be leaving some spooky goodies near the front door for the usual Halloween suspects to share & enjoy.
Back to the shave....Another eclectic shave set up to start the weekend....The R41/GWS duo performed with sheer smoothness, mowing through my face & head stubble effortlessly....what a wonderful efficient razor the R41 is now that i have vastly improved my technique & gained my shaving confidence when shaving this assertive semi-open comb Fräulein.

A very enjoyable face & head shave with no errors to report.Finishing to the shave off with a generous dollop of L'OREAL ~ Soothing Birch Sap PSB.

My face and precious swede are feeling super smooth and smelling divine.;)

Stay safe, and enjoy the start of the spooky Halloween weekend ladies & gentlemen.

The Van Der Hagen Luxury Shaving Soap face-lathered well with Jayaruh #144 Finest Badger Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Gillette Sheraton razor with a Gillette Silver Blue blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Aqua Velva 5 in 1 ASB. 2020-10-31, Saturday

I was greeted by a caliginous and cold day: very beautiful!

And I found a reason to regret the next lockdown (I can feel it coming, crawling...).
With the house arrest, my life has changed little and, frankly, I didn't see any reason to be sorry, nor to rejoice for it...
Instead, this morning, on my way home, I discovered one!
Driving along a small country road, about two and a half meters wide, I crossed another car and, as every rare time this happens, we moved from the asphalt, putting the wheels in the fields.
While we were passing each other, he lowered the window and invited me, a bit annoyed, to drive... keeping the right!
I asked him what he meant, and he promptly explained to me that 'Here, there is the right, we are not not in Russia!

More than 70% of the human contacts that I am forced to have, provoke me a sense of irrepressible exaltation and, meeting Leonardo da Vinci, Einstein or Averroës, I would look down on them, with sufficiency, for their limited IQ.

And, in this regard, while I was out and about, I tried to rent a costume to wear tonight.
We are in the countryside and there is certainly not a large assortment.
I found a very original one as Politician’s Intelligence.
But not only it was dirty, full of flaws, but also very, very small.
But it had been used very little!

Too bad: I think I'll wear my usual, as Zorro, with the little moustache done with a burnt cork.
Which you won't be able to see under the mask...

The shaving was satisfactory and without any particular emotions.

Thanks again to @LillasPastia for the musical suggestions.
Lorin Maazel is undoubtedly good, but I have not liked him since he was condescendingly directing in a show to bring children closer to classical music; he seemed annoyed to have to direct for that audience. Perhaps he was right and these assignments were part of a more artistically interesting contract, but if one decides to do something, I think it should be done in adequately. Also the unpleasant parts.

A tenebrous photo, under-illuminated with somber and amphibological images. Bravo. BTW, that recording is one of the Cleveland Orchestra's finest recordings under Maestro Maazel. Personally, I feel they were a better orchestra under George Szell.

    Thank you, Joseph.

I admit I am not free of prejudice when it comes to Maazel...
I heard better and worse directors.
I am deeply in love with von Karajan: i love his pauses, suspensions... Don't know what's the name.
