Cold wet flannel to my face.
FatFace Ocean Escape Soap Bar.
Brush: Yaqi 26mm Rainbow Brown Synthetic. (Faux Horse)
Bowl Lather.
Bowl: Home Bargains Stainless Steel Side Bowl.
Lather: Cella Bio Organic Aloe Vera Shaving Cream.
Blade: Personna Gem PTFE. ( D5.)
Razor: Gem OC Micromatic.

Cold water face wash with brush squeezings, Cold Water Face Rinse. /Homemade (~Autumn/Winter mix~) peppermint lavender, eucalyptus, + Tea Tree essential Oils Mixed Together With 200ml of Care+Witch Hazel./Cien Sensitive ASB./Milton Lloyd Victor N0:9 EdT.

(OCtober-Open Comb razor week.)

A new eclectic shave set up to start the weekend..I missed the start of the OCtober open comb razor month so I'll do a full week with my OC razors to make up for lost time....Starting with the assertive Gem OC Micromatic..I've said it before treat any razor with respect, learn your technique, gain your shaving confidence and you'll be rewarded with some sublime shaves.

The mild scented Cella bio Aloe Vera shaving cream provided me with a great protective slick lather in no time leaving a superb post shave feel.

A enjoyable 2 pass + pick ups close comfortable BBS shave with no errors to report...Finishing to the shave off with a few small squirts of Milton Lloyd Victor N0:9 EdT to the pulse points.

My face is feeling silky smooth & smelling divine.

The Proraso Red Shave Cream lathered well with Jayaruh #206 two-band Badger. Two passes and touch ups with the Gem MMOC no bumps with a Personna Gem PTFE blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Pinaud Vanilla After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

These Minora blades are so awesome - they’re very sharp, smooth, forgiving, and they have excellent longevity. Today was my eleventh time using this one and it’s still performing very well. The Glacial Electric Sheep is a mutton tallow based soap like the regular version of Electric Sheep, it has the same lovely scent of lemon, citronella, and eucalyptus, the lather is so rich as well as mega slick, it has a knockout menthol punch, and the skincare is perfect. The Glacial Unscented balm and the Rubby Dubby Doo (Osage Rub) added lots of extra frozen love to my skin. Another brilliant three pass BBS shave which was so much fun!

RAZOR: DH Nichiri Tokusen 1000 6/8 (Mug), Leresche 51 Luxe Model.
BLADE: Feather DE
PREP: Cold water rinse followed by a scrub with Argan Oil
BRUSH: Blue Resin Badger made by my son
SOAP: Mitchell’s Wool Fat
POSTSHAVE: Cold water wash with brush squeezings followed by a rinse with Humphreys Lilac WH. Finished with Cremo Cooling Post Shave Balm.

 

DE SOTD, Sat, Oct 9th 2021- Hard to beat a smooth and Sharp blade like the GSB with a Gillette Fatboy gliding it IMO.

Razor : Gillette E4 Fatboy- Mfg 1959,4th qtr- Excellent adjustable razor, well designed and built to last generations of shaving.
Blade: Gillette silver blue(GSB)(1)- Sharp & smooth with reasonable longevity, top tier blade for myself, 1st shave will tell most folks how excellent a blade it is, Cadillac of Gillette blades IMO.
Soap: Speick, nice mild spicy scent with excellent lather qualities.
Brush: Yaqi 22mm (AKA, ever-Helpful)2band badger, great lather generator, soft tips, excellent scrubber + good lather painter.
Pre shave: Brush (24mmCashmere) wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera Gel on the cleaned beard area.
Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups.
Post shave: Witch hazel beard area cleaning + Nivea refreshing AS + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizer lotion (excellent + scentless balm)
Results: CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= Excellent shave with my Gillette Fatboy with a GSB blade.
