Thanks for the response. A few more if I may. Is it easy to get out of the tub to transfer to a mug? Also, what do you think is the diameter of the puck?

Razor: Gillette New Long comb, fat handle + Canadian variant-Mfg 1930's N.D.Codes, mid range, a lot of copper for what ever reason on top cap & handle & the rest is brass. I get really close shaves & have to be a little more careful with this razor. I have another one & it shaves better because of the ball end handle feel IMO.
Blade: GSB(5) Excellent blade, sharp & smoooth with good longevity. One of my favorites.
Soap: Speick, nice mild spicy scent with excellent lather qualities. You can get a great creamy lather if you play with it a little longer by applying to face and just paint and scrub a little after bowl lather loading.( I just press some in the bowl)
Brush: Yaqi Atlantis 24mm synthetic, excellent lather generator, cloud like soft tips, great scrubber + great lather painter.
Pre shave: Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on the cleaned beard area.
Prep: cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups.
Post shave: Ach Brito Lavanda with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizer lotion balm (scentless)
Results: CCS,DFS,BBs + some irritation + 2 blemish weepers= excellent shave with my Gillette New OC with a GSB.

Since I'm not home now all I can tell you is that it could be scooped out and pressed into a mug if you chose to I think without any difficulty. As far as the measurement I'm unsure but it's in a tub about the size of Zingari man and Ariana and Evans etc. Standard size tubs.

That's super cool. I've tried to find a Creed Shaving soap for years and could never find one on ebay or anywhere else. I would love to find some B-stock or something that sat in a closet for years and suddenly goes on ebay. That would be hella cool.

A relaxing Sunday morning shave.

The Bath House soap provided a wonderful lather in a short space of time....I find this shaving soap similar to MWF which i like very much, it's fragrance to my nose is a very pleasant 'Spicy' scent which is a great autumn/winter soap, but i use it if and when to my fancy not just for the colder months of the year... Another soap that gives a superb post shave feel.

A wonderful smooth efficient razor & blade duo. I've mentioned in my past postings that the shaving products produced in the sub continents don't get the credit they rightly deserve.

A enjoyable 2 pass + pick ups close comfortable shave with no errors to report...Finishing to the shave off with a few small squirts of OUD 24 Hours EdP to the pulse points..

My face is feeling super smooth & smelling divine.

Fernando my brother - you’re not only a master, you’re a Grand Master of soaps and aftershaves. This Grapefruit Cinnamon soap smells so beautiful - grapefruit is definitely the dominant note of the scent, the tallow formula gives it such great lather as well as tons of slickness, and the postshave feeling is marvellous. The Nivea Sensitive balm feels so moisturizing, and soothing, and the Max Disinfecting aftershave from Bulgaria smells nice, it stings like hell for a second but then it feels great. The Minora blade…..wow, the twelfth day but it’s still performing beautifully - another picture perfect BBS shave!

SOTD SUNDAY MORNING, OCTOBER 24, 2021

This morning I shaved my mug with the C-Mon Special 11/16. The razor really holds a great edge hollow ground edge. Two passes with some final flatblading on the neck put the baby to bed. The Le Coq cagehead took care of my dome stubble in two ATG passes leaving me clean and smooth from noggin to shoulders.

RAZOR: C-Mon Special 11/16 (Mug), Le Coq Cagehead (Dome)
BLADE: Feather DE
PREP: Cold water rinse followed by a scrub with Argan Oil
BRUSH: JR Boar #372
SOAP: Mitchell’s Wool Fat
POSTSHAVE: Cold water wash with brush squeezings followed by a rinse with Humphreys Lilac WH. Finished with Williams Aqua Velva (Spanish Version)

 

Their is just something about that razor. It looks cool!
