Trick or Treat week, Friday, OCtober 28th 2022

Razor : Razorock Old type OC, Mfg 2015>, nice mild range OC, some tab overhang, simple design and works well. I use to take this razor when travelling in Mexico in case of nicks and irritation(if you nick yourself it is from poor technique IMO + great little razor and affordable IMO.
Blade : Treet carbon steel- sharp & smooth with minimal longevity IMO. 1 & 2 shaves are great but tends to fall off after that.
Soap : Gillette Pure cream, nice clean sweet scent with excellent lather qualities. Makes excellent ubber lather from remnants of soap also in bowl.
Brush : Yaqi(Casino clubs) 26mm timber wolf synthetic knot, excellent lather generator, heavenly luxury cloud like soft tips, gentle splay scrubber + excellent lather painter.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Pinaud Clubman with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results :CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= great shave with my RR old type OC with a Treet carbon steel blade.

Prep: Warm shower:/Lynx Africa Squeezed Mandarin & Sandalwood Body Wash.

Pre:
Cold wet flannel to my face & head.
Pears Original Transparent Bar Soap.
Brush: Semogue 830.
Face Lather.
Lather: Proraso Sandalwood & Shea Butter Shaving Soap.
Razor: Muhle R41. (2013) (Face) -Treet 7 Day Platinum. (D1)
Razor: Schick G type Injector (Head/ Dome) - Personna PTFE SS Injector. (D1)

Post:
Cold water face & head wash with brush squeezing's, Cold Water Face & Head Rinse. / Homemade (~Autumn/Winter mix~) peppermint lavender, eucalyptus, + Tea Tree essential Oils Mixed Together With 200ml of Care+Witch Hazel. /Pashana Original ASL. / L'0REAL Barber Club Reinforcing ASB.

A new eclectic shave set up to start the weekend.... I was curious to revisit the T7DP as it's been a while since i last shaved with them.

WOW! another great razor and blade match. I forgot how efficient & sharp the T7DP are. They are another almost near feather hi stainless in sharpness. The smoothness of these blades is especially good and paired with the assertive Muhle R41 wonderfully making a smooth efficient duo.

Now that I have much required shaving confidence and my technique has vastly improved i can now pair the R41 with assertive DE blades and get a close comfortable shave without being afraid to shave with it without the fear of my shave ending in a blood shaving massacre. Good technique and shaving confidence are the key to comfortable error-free shaves.

I really like Proraso Sandalwood & Shea Butter soap it never fails to provide an acceptable lather with aa excellent sandalwood scent which is my favourite of all the sandalwood soaps & creams i have tried.

The Schick G Type Injector fitted with a fresh Personna PTFE SS Injector blade provided me with a smooth effortless head/dome shave.

A close comfortable face & head shave with errors to report.

Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of L'0REAL Barber Club Reinforcing ASB.

My face & precious swede are feeling smooth & smelling divine.

Oh la la, this Vintage Spice soap and aftershave……..wowwwwww!!!!!! If you’re into the original Shulton Old Spice scent like I am then you’ll LOVE this stuff cuz the scent is absolutely IDENTICAL. My brother Fernando is such a soap and aftershave genius that he created two treasures - the soap’s tallow formula gives it such fantastic lather that explodes off the brush, the slickness is something else, and the postshave feeling is perfect. The Fino balm is unscented, it’s so moisturizing as well as soothing, and the Vintage Spice aftershave is witch hazel based so there’s no burning or stinging from it, and the scent is as gorgeous as the soap and the Shulton Old Spice - not only that, it lasts all day. Three passes gave me a mega BBS shave that was so much fun!

The Cella Shave Soap lathered well with the Jayaruh #432 Synthetic brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Supply SE Injector and the Supply Black Label Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Cella After Shave Balm. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
