This was the last shave with the Rolls this week. It did a great job for a 76 year old blade.

The Mitchel's Wool Fat Shave Soap lathered well with the Jayaruh #340 Badger brush. Two passes and touch ups with the 1907 Gem Jr. Lather Catcher and a '47 Rolls Wedge Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Dickinson's Witch Hazel and then Florida Water. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

What a pity that this Irisch Moos stick was discontinued because it appeared to be selling so well. The scent is delightful, it’s such a fantastic latherer, and it leaves a very comfortable postshave feeling. The Intesa balm from Italy also smells nice, and it’s slightly mentholated not to mention how soothing it is, and the Max Disinfecting aftershave from Bulgaria stings like a bugger for a second or two but then it feels great. Finally the magnificent Bleu de Chanel fragrance and I’m good to go. Two passes were enough to get a great BBS shave that was so pleasurable!

Razor : Ever-Ready Streamline 2nd generation (1950's)- Mfg 1949-53, upper mid range. Well built to last generations and a joy to use when mastered. This ASR has a totally different base plate that is thicker and is machined with a closed comb instead of stamped out. Had a close comfortable shave with a shim(RIGShim to smooth out shave) at the back to raise the spline to old similar blade specs.
Blade : Gem Personna SS PTFE (9) very sharp, great longevity, smooths out nicely, predictable + safest blade to handle.
Soap : Cyril R Salter Wild Rose cream- nice rose scent 5-6/10 with wonderful lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi "Lucky Casinos" 26mm Timberwolf knot. Excellent lather generator, heavenly Luxury cloud like soft tips, Gentle splay scrubber + excellent lather painter. One of the best synthetics I enjoy in my collection!
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Neiva ever refreshing lotion + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : or CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= Had a close comfortable shave this morning with my Ever-Ready streamline razor with a coated Gem blade.

A new shave set up to start the weekend.

Everything in my set up this morning worked together wonderfully...The FaTip Grande / Gillette London Bridge continue to be a superb smooth efficient duo.

An enjoyable comfortable face & head shave with no errors to report. finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Aloe Vera Gel.

My face & precious swede are feeling smooth and smelling divine.

Two passes and touch ups with the Luxor Pro Master and Gillette Silver Blue Half Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Dickinson's Witch Hazel and then Florida Water. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
