Well, I finished off this container of Absolute Zero soap but I have three more brand new backups of it so needless to say I’m a happy camper because I love this soap so much. Its scent is so nice - it’s a mix of aquatic and minty notes, it lathers beautifully with lots of slickness, it’s a menthol atom bomb like any of the Stirling Glacials, and it’s so skin friendly. The Absolute Zero aftershave toner contains no alcohol so it doesn’t burn or sting, it smells exactly like the soap, it freezes like there’s no tomorrow, but it’s also very soothing and moisturizing, the Rubby Dubby Doo went on frigidly cold, and finally the magnificent Bleu de Chanel fragrance completed the job. Three swift passes gave me a dynamite BBS shave that I enjoyed immensely!

The Tabac Shave Soap lathered well with the Jayaruh #395 Badger brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Gillette No Notch Aristocrat and Astra SP Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Dickinson's Witch Hazel and then Tabac AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

DE SOTD, Tuesday, October 17th 2023

Razor : Yaqi 2nd generation or V2 Mellon head 316 SSP with a Tear drop handle 316 SSP- Mfg 2023>, tame mid to mid range. Very nice razor and it has the nicest audio feed back of 99% of my DE razor(sizzling sound). Performance with a good technique produces stellar results like this mornings shave.
Blade : GSB (4) sharp and smoooth with reasonable longevity. Top tier blade in my Den.
Soap : TOBS Herbal sandalwood, the scent of this sandalwood is awesome for myself 6-7/10 strength + excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi "Sagrada Familia" 22mm 2band badger, Excellent lather generator, luxury pillow like soft tips, nice splay scrubber + excellent lather painter. This little brush performs well and is awesome considering it's small handle.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Ogallala Bayrum with Sandalwood cologne AS + a dollop of Geo F Trumper Sandalwood skin food.
Results : or CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + no weepers= Had a stellar close comfortable shave this morning with my Yaqi 316 SSP Mellon head with a GSB blade.
