Cien PURE Fragrance Free Sensitive Bar Soap.
Brush: Omega 11047 'Mixed Midget' Badger/Boar.
Bowl Lather.
Bowl: Tesco's Ceramic 'Cosmo' Side Bowl.
Lather: Proraso Sandalwood Shaving Soap.
Blade: Gillette London Bridge. (D1)
Razor: FaTip Grande.

Post:
Cold water face wash with brush squeezing's,/ Cold Water Face Rinse./Alum Rub./Cold Water Rinse./Homemade (~Autumn/Winter mix~) peppermint lavender, eucalyptus, + Tea Tree essential Oils Mixed Together With 200ml of Care+Witch Hazel./ L'0REAL Barber Club Reinforcing ASB./Proraso Sandalwood ASL.

Everything in my shave set up worked together excellently resulting in a enjoyable face & head shave with no errors to report. The FaTip Grande is becoming a firm favourite again.

Finishing the shave off with a generous splash of Proraso Sandalwood ASL.

My face & precious swede are feeling smooth and smelling divine.

The Derby Shave Soap Stick lathered well with the Jayaruh #2 Badger brush. Two passes and touch ups with the BarbaQo Shavette Razor and Pro 500 Super Platinum Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Dickinson's Witch Hazel and then Lilac Vegetal. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

A quickie but a very goodie in spite of how rushed I was - again I overslept for some reason and I had a tough time getting out of bed. My dear brother Mo in Durban, South Africa produces some great soaps and his Dark Lime is one of them. It’s vegan based like all his soaps, it has a lovely lime scent, it lathers so easily, and it leaves a very comfortable postshave feeling. The Aveeno moisturizer and the Iced Lime aftershave were a perfect finish. Two passes were enough to give me a terrific BBS shave that was so enjoyable although I hate to rush!

DE SOTD, Saturday, October 28th 2023

Razor : Yaqi 2nd generation Mellon head 316 SSP with a Yaqi Teardrop 316 SSP handle- Mfg 2021>, mid range. Excellent machining and finish for my shaving needs. This razor is similar to the Grande King dual comb razor(no blade tab overhang) but is refined to take Gillette standard blades and is made from 316 SSP. Had a comfortable close shave this morning and seems to be constant great shaves with this interesting mid range razor head. Top tier razor head in my large assortment of razors and brands IMO.
Blade : Treet platinum SS(2) mild sharp with longevity unknown. Nice smoooth blade on 2nd use I found and prefer the SS platinum over the Treet carbon blades IMO.
Soap : Ogallala Bayrum sage and cedarwood, nice Bayrum scent with some clove with great lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi "Black marble" 24mm 3band badger. Excellent lather generator, luxury pillow like soft tips, nice splay scrubber + great lather painter. This brush has a large bloom when washed for first use and works great even with the large bloom.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Ogallala Bayrum and Sandalwood + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : or CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + no weepers= Had a close comfortable shave this morning with my Yaqi Mellon head 316 SSP with a Treet Platinum blade.

It's been a while since I've last added the Monsavon Au Lait soap to my shave set ups, and forgot how good it performs, it's slick protective and doesn't dry out and leaves my mature skin feel hydrated and smooth.

A comfortable 2 pass + pick-ups silky smooth shave with no errors to report. Finishing the shave off a with a generous splash of Blue Stratos ASL.

My face is feeling super smooth & smelling divine.
