Razor: Giesen & Forsthoff 1920 // Blade: Gillette Wilkinson India // Soap: The Sudsy Soapery Pumkin Spice // Brush: Jannik WH Butterscotch // Aftershave: Nivea Skin & Beardbalm

It´s Halloween time again…so i thought of doing an „Halloween-inspired“ shave today. The Sudsy Soapery Pumpkin Spice was the perfect match. Great great scent. Sudsy Soapery are (for me personally) one of the best soaps out there. Lather, skin care and scents are top notch and the glide is phenomenal.

It was very good shave.

A definitely 10 out of 10

Lately I’ve been using stuff that I’ve neglected for a long time - this Musgo cream has been sitting underneath my bathroom sink and it’s still smelling so nice, it lathers great, it gives great blade glide, and it has a cool, comfortable postshave feeling. The Aveeno moisturizer is so soothing, and the Musgo Classic aftershave smells so beautiful - even Madame loves the scent on me. The 7 AM has reached the end of the road after two weeks of devoted service - another awesome two pass BBS shave which was so enjoyable!

The Derby Shave Soap Stick lathered well with the Jayaruh #2 Badger brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Ever-Ready Lather Catcher and Personna GEM SS PTFE Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Dickinson's Witch Hazel and then Lilac Vegetal. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

 

Sunday Schick shave, October 29th 2023

Razor : Schick injector E2 type, Canadian variant- Mfg 1930's-40's, midrange. Well designed and simple way to shave with just injecting blades, built to last generations with a little care and once mastered gives nice shaves with a light touch. Had a close comfortable shave this morning.
Blade : Schick injector coated. Sharp and smooth with great longevity.
Soap : Ogallala Bayrum and sandalwood- nice Bayrum with some clove + great lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi "Lucky dice" 26mm brown whiskers fan synthetic knot. Excellent lather generator, luxury cloud like soft tips, nice splay scrubber + excellent lather painter.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Ogallala Bayrum with Sandalwood + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : or CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= Had a close comfortable shave this morning with my Schick E2 with a Schick injector coated blade.

Two passes and touch ups with the TNNSER V1 Razor by Tom and Personna GEM SS PTFE Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Hendrick's Witch Hazel and then Osage Rub. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
