The Williams Mug Shaving Soap lathered well with Semogue 1305 Boar brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Gillette No Notch Super Speed and PolSilver Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Dickinson's Witch Hazel and then Lustray Spice After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Here my Shave of the Day (04.10.2023)


Razor:Hone SS // Blade: Gillette Platinum (2) // Soap: MSC Tabacchi // Brush: Shavemac // Aftershave: Nivea Skin and Beardbalm // EdP: Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille

What a fantastic scent this is…the soap smells EXACTLY and i mean EXACTLY like the EdP. There is no difference. Spot on!!! I am blown away. Lather has been whipped up fast as always and the lather quality was (MSC-typical) thick and rich with a very good glide.

The Hone did it´s job very smooth and gentle in 2,5 passes. BBS with no effort.

Lovely shave.

These days I’m really loving my Wilkinson Sword razor and I’m getting awesome results from it. The Vintage Spice soap……WOW!!!!!!!!! Is it ever wonderful - my dear brother Fernando in Johannesburg, South Africa friggin nailed it with this one. That gorgeous Shulton Old Spice scent was ever present while I was lathering up and shaving, the lather was so thick, rich, creamy, protective as well as slick, and the postshave feeling was so comfortable. The Aveeno moisturizer is so good as a balm, and the Vintage Spice aftershave is another treasure - it’s witch hazel based so it never stings or burns and its gorgeous Shulton Old Spice scent lasts almost all day. Three glorious passes gave me a great BBS shave that was such a pleasure!
