The Tabac Shave Soap lathered well with the Jayaruh #224 synthetic brush. Two passes and touch ups with the AutoStrop A1 Single Edge Razor and the Personna Gem Stainless PTFE Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Tabac After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

DE SOTD, Tuesday, OCtober 29th 2024

Razor : Razorock Lupo.72. Mfg 2021 >,med range. Excellent machining, finish + design. One of my favorite DE razors.
Blade : Gillette Astra SS Blue(1) sharp and smooth with reasonable longevity.
Soap : Mitchell's wool fat. Mild clean scent with excellent protection. 2nd time just using the puck as stick to apply soap and just face lather for excellent results especially on 1st lather application.
Brush : Yaqi "Sagrada Familia" 22 mm 2band badger. Excellent badger brush for my shaving needs.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Pinaud Clubman splash with witch hazel+ a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : or CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + no weepers= Had a close comfortable stellar shave this morning with my Lupo.72 with a Astra Blue blade. Very nice shave this morning!
