New soap: Dr Harris Sandalwood: very mild scent but great lather, tallow based, a keeper!
Ever-ready 200, reknotted bought 2nd hand no idea but likely badger
Gillette TV special 1958 D3
Permasharp (2)
2 Passes for a really good DFS and some BBS
Spending more time and attention to skin pulling upstream from the razor, seems to be of great help

Alum stung a lot, no damage, Thayers, Nivea balm, Old Spice, Santal Sandalwood

Prep: Warm shower:/Bulldog Peppermint & Eucalyptus Shower Gel.

Pre:
Cien PURE Fragrance Free Sensitive Bar Soap.
Brush: Wilkinson Sword Synthetic.
Face Lather.
Lather: Erasmic Shaving Soap Bowl.
Blade: Feather Hi Stainless. (D2)
Razor: FaTip Grande.

Post:
Cold Water Face Rinse./Cold water face wash with brush squeezing's,/Alum Rub./Cold Water Rinse./Homemade (~Autumn/Winter mix~) peppermint lavender, eucalyptus, + Tea Tree essential Oils Mixed Together With Care+Witch Hazel./Brut ASL with added menthol crystals./ L'0REAL Soothing Birch Sap PSB.

Early morning shave,

An enjoyable smooth shave to finish my shaving week wonderfully. Both the Mühle R41 & Yaqi DOC Mellon have paired together with the Feather Hi Stainless superbly which have been a joy to shave with especially the Yaqi DOC Mellon, providing me with some sublime shaves.

A close comfortable 2 pass + pick ups silky smooth shave with no errors to report.

Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of L'0REAL Soothing Birch Sap PSB.

My face is feeling cool smooth & smelling divine.

DE SOTD, Thursday, October 10th 2024

Razor : Yaqi Sentinel 1.50mm gap 316 SSP with a Yaqi tear drop 316 SSP handle. Mfg 2022>, mild to tame mid range. Excellent machining and finish QC. Very similar appearance to the Personna BBS and Wolfman W2 variants. Had a close and comfortable shave this morning.
Blade : Personna red(3) sharp and smooth with excellent longevity.
Soap : Yaqi Black pepper, nice scented soap that has a unique fragrance + excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi" Moka Express" 26mm with a synthetic knot. Excellent lather generator, luxury heavenly cloud like soft tips, gentle splay scrubber + excellent lather painter. One of my favorite synthetic brushes for face feel.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : MyYaqi aftershave with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : or CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= Had a close comfortable shave this morning with my Yaqi sentinel 1.5mm + a Personna red blade.
