SOS: October 2025

So I wanted to keep what was left of the Tabac stick in one of my push-up containers but the stick was too wide to fit, sooooo I did this and now I’ve got the stick and the puck. My wife says I’ve got WAY too much time on my hands and is worried about whats going to happen when I finally retire. ;-). I’m worried about her eyesight from all the eye rolling shes been doing since I’ve started this fine journey!

 

Good to know about the normal-skin offerings, for this vintage fella.

For today’s shave I went with The Cajun Blades collab with the Lathered Yeti - Voodoo Yeti: The Legend of the Blood Moon and back to the razor I can never stay too far from the Carbon-Cx.

This is my first time using a soap from The Cajun Blade. Not sure why I haven’t wish I had sooner. The base is amazing! Sprouting with rich, thick lather! And a lot of lather from a small amount of soap. And the scent is an absolute banger. Slightly sweet, woody, spicy, and I’m picking up powdery notes! Wow! A stacked scent to say the least! Every time I try and place a note I pick up a new one! Amazing!

And what can I say about the Cx in any form? It’s my favorite razor. I love the weight and heft of the copper. And it’s so darn pretty.
