Today’s shave I went with the Alpha Evo Ti and Los Jabones de Joserra

The Alpha Evolution Ti is a great razor. Smooth and useable on autopilot. You’ll never worry about cutting yourself. With a good blade I get a DFS with no effort and with a little bit of touch up, like today, you’ll end up with a BBS. Man, Steve sure knows his way around razors and brushes!

Los Jabones de Joserra is amazing! Every time I use them I wonder why I waited so long to go back. Good Company is inspired by Kilian’s Angels Share. While I’ve never put my nose to that to compare this version is a banger! I’d describe it as a spicy gourmand. I’m picking up vanilla, nuts, cinnamon and a bit of maybe whiskey. Wow! So nuanced! So warm! So enveloping! Amazing!

Bowl: Tesco's Ceramic 'Cosmo' Side Bowl.
Lather: Blue's goat milk Shaving Soap.
Blade: Dorco Prime Platinum. (D3)
Razor: Parker 24C.
Razor: Gillette Guard. (Head) - (D4)

Post:
Cold Water Face & Head Rinse./Cold water face & head wash with brush squeezing's,/Alum Rub./Cold Water Rinse./Homemade (~Autumn/Winter mix~) peppermint lavender, eucalyptus, + Tea Tree essential Oils Mixed Together With Care+ Witch Hazel./ Brut Original ASL. / L'0REAL Barber Club Reinforcing ASB.

Scent = Oudh Malak. Oud Arabian Sunset to the pulse points for good measure

Superb smoothness. No need to move the Executive beyond number 5
Kai has done well on day 3, but I felt it was due for retirement

The Tabac Shave Soap was face-lathered well with Tom's 3D Printed Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Gem OC Damaskeene Razor and the Personna GEM SS PTFE Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Humphrey's Witch Hazel and Tabac After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

 

Absolutely brilliant shave my Lantsman!

I can almost kick myself in the tukhis for not using Tabac today!

A while ago - in fact quite a while ago I bought an old Colgate stick from a guy in Sweden and I have to say that it’s pretty damned good - it’s the forerunner of the Palmolive stick that is also no longer available. This stick still has a clean, soapy scent, it gives surprisingly good lather with more than enough slickness, and the postshave feeling is quite comfortable although not as much as with the Palmolive stick. The Boomslang 1 balm smells very nice, it’s extremely moisturizing as well as soothing, and there’s a pleasant cooling sensation from it. The Skin Bracer aftershave went on with its great scent and an icy cold menthol kick - thanks I needed that. Three passes resulted in a wonderful BBS shave that was very enjoyable!
