The Mitchell's Wool Fat Shave Soap was face-lathered well with the Jayaruh #30 Silvertip Badger Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Fuzzy Catcher OC 3D Lather Catcher Razor and the Personna GEM SS PTFE Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Humphrey's Witch Hazel and Pinaud Citrus Musk EDC. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Day 4 of the Iridium, still doing its job nicely thanks to the excellent TOBS Oud lather and good prep.

I will stick with this blade until the blade deserves to be dispatched.

Minor weeper right top lip, overly keen ATG. Taken care of with cold water

Love the Semogue Pegasus by the way

Two passes and touch ups with the The TAR Razor by Tom and the Gillette Silver Blue Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Humphrey's Witch Hazel and Mennen Skin Bracer After Shave . I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

The Gillette Pure SC works well for me. I also like the Colonial CR7 razor. Still not sure about the Personna Gem blade. It's comfortable and smooth but not (for me) terribly effective. I'll keep trying to figure it out though. Love the Cashmere knot, it's my favorite at this time. So all is well. Now go enjoy your day folks.

Thanks for your post, Poppi. I was totally unaware that there were GEM double edge blades.
I used a GEM single edge this morning. I use it because that's the blade that fits older SE razors.
If the double edge blades shave like the single edge ones, I wouldn't be a fan.

I am liking the Iridium blade even on day 4. Not sure how many more shaves are left in it though

 

I like both Iridium blades, the Wizamet you're currently using, and the Polsilver Super Iridium ones. I think I favor the Polsilver, but that could depend on which razor it's in. I've never tried a close comparison of them. They are both very good IMHO.
